The University of Birmingham

Beautiful campus and great teaching and support, for example careers services and fairs. The University provides you with many opportunities and you leave with having gained so much experience and confidence.

It’s a really good university with a really nice campus with trees, old buildings etc. Unfortunately this is being changed with the current creation of the green heart. The teaching and support from admin and career services is really good, as well as the use of canvas and my.bham.

My course was not what I initially expected, but I’ve settled in and am beginning to enjoy my course a lot more. The campus is beautiful and I love being there.

In terms of City, Birmingham is incredible. There is so much to see and do, and is perfect for student. Transport is great and so is the nightlife. There is plenty of shopping, bars and restaurants to try. The University itself has its flaws however. The WiFi on campus is often poor & recently redevelopments to the Uni are incredibly disruptive to lectures and seminars. The teaching and support is however good, it’s just the practical sides that let the university down.

Lovely clean campus with decent teaching facilities. Intranet and canvas pages are well organised and the IT services are reliable. Feedback is always being genuinely taken to heart and implemented.

Great campus, new facilities such as library and sports centre. However, due to the popularity the demand from students has increased and thus, such spaces can become busy and oversubscribed. Support is good, teaching fantastic but careers help and networking for health related professions are few and far between.

absoulutly a beautiful campus with good infrastructure! especially the library with high technology and a lot of seats.

I loved the campus vibe and how everything was walkable. Everyone was so friendly and had a great community feel :) well taught and great extra curricular activities.

Great campus and is set to be even better by 2019 with the works ongoing to create a greener campus. The facilities are up with the best in the country too, with the new Library and 360 Sport and Fitness buildings. Couldn't ask for much more.

Such a fantastic university with an amazing course and so much to do. Few issues with organisation but that’s the only reason it’s down a star!
