Fun and very social bunch of people, weekly trips to the snow centre, yearly trips to another country. Socials are held often and are usually of some sort of theme or related to a charity. Overall, amazing bunch. You'll be missing out if you don't check these guys out if Teesside University is your destination of choice.

I joined snowsports half way through my first year of university and it was the best thing i have ever done. They made me so welcome and have become some of my favourite people at university. We are like one big family that is always up for a night on the town. The trips to xscape are well organised considering we have to travel to Castleford which is a way away. We go every two weeks so we can hang out and have some fun whilst skiing or snowboarding. I already had experience skiing so in the future i may possibly try snowboarding as a lot of my friends do. One of the best things about snowsports is tour. This is a week away to the slopes. In last March we went to Andorra which was brilliant. I didnt want to leave. I love snowsports it is the best club at university!!!

TUSSC aka Teesside Yetis is one of the most well known clubs on campus. You'll often spot them donning very unique jackets sporting the Yetis logo. Overall, the group is a very friendly bunch who are easily approachable and for the most part have fantastic events for all, as we don't have a local snowsports centre as of yet, the equipment available is non existent, you either need your own or you rent it from the snow sports centre in Wakefield which is visited bi weekly.
