Teesside University

Currently a first year student. The uni has provided plenty of support and information on how to get the most out of the university experience giving us tips on both academic development as well as helping with finances

Some aspects were great such as summer and grad scheme placement opportunities. Other aspects in terms of support was limited. Aspects of computing courses was outdated, some tutors was very knowledgeable, a couple on computing course struggled to even use Blackboard never mind teach. Not much room in freelance labs at peak times.

Library is really good open 24/7 cafes are good value SU has tasty food campus is okay quite confusing at times

One of the best universities I have been to, the lectures are incredible and I've received the best grades due to their organisation and knowledge of their research areas. I love the library.

Very clean university with a lot of diversity which is really cool to see ! I've grown up around the area my idea life and it's amazinf to see new faces and everyone getting the chance to see how goood the university is and those from Middlesbrough and what ancool little town it is

I believe that reside university is a superb university. It has many facilities to keep you busy as well as a 24hour library which is the heart of the university I believe. Even though the area is not the best, the university premises are usually kept clean. I also love the people you get to meet and how surprising it was when I met people from different countries and parts of the country. The uni holds a high standard of 'caring' for their students as they want us to succeed and provide as much help as possible. The uni also has a gym which is superb as I find that exercising is the best way to relieve stress and keep on top of myself.

Decent university. Committed to impriving the campus by investing a lit of money. Lecturers are like every other uni; some bad, some fantastic. Help was often available and managed to get a lot of struggling studemts through with good grades.

Very good university that offers a range of courses. The staff are supportive and there for its students and help while struggling or if a student has issues. Has amazing facilities such as a 24hr library which I have spent many a night there.

Overall great uni. very good facilities although some better than others. some courses lead better than others. SU provides help with all aspects of uni life. campus close together so easy to navigate around.

The campus is beautiful, modern and all in one area. It’s like an on-campus uni but in the heart of Middlesbrough. It’s easy to navigate around and there are three pubs on campus that all serve amazing food and cheap drinks. It’s always very clean and lights up at night

The campus is very modern and is still getting renovated. The facilities are decent and beneficial for the course I do. The course of sports therapy and rehabilitation is full of interesting and beneficial knowledge.

Overall, my university is very accomodating and offers great resources and support services. It is maintained reasonably well and people are pretty nice there. I study BSc (Hons) Psychology and I am happy here.

The staff are extremely knowledgeable about their topics and completely approachable from multiple platforms, the buildings are modern and equipped well to facilitate learning and the 24 HR library is very helpful. Health and social care course tended to be disorganised due to different term schedules and an inability to decide between terms and semesters.

The course I am involved with is subsidised by teesside University, the course itself is very open and free, with a lot of room for individual decision making based on the project briefing. This is good and bad, as on the one hand it leaves much to the imagination, however, it leaves too much to the individual so that it does not help.
