Need more help with job opportunities and help searching for placement/volunteering. Also definitely need to improve doctors located on campus because the surgery they use are terrible.

The university is good. I study animal science with behaviour at this uni. I feel happy and comfortable at this university and am enjoying it. I find that resources are good and all of my modules are relevant.

Really good university, could have more food places around the university though. Local gym is cheaper than on campus gym which is something that could be improved on.

It's a great University for students who want a good standard and who like to know where they stand with the University. Some of it's practices are a bit odd at first and hard to get used to but it seems like it reflex's working practices.

The university is fantastic - the tutors are amazing. The level of support is second to none. It's so underrated with it being positioned just outside of the "centre" of stoke and being in a slightly obscure place it gets a lot of bad rep but it's so brilliant and plucky. The library is an excellent facility - plenty to offer students including completely silent study areas - perfect to suit a number of students needs - the in-house Costa is perfect too - much needed for those 6 hour essay stints ! As a student ambassador aswell the student support teams are amazing - the student union staff are warm, bright and welcoming. If a problem is bought to their attention they do whatever they can to solve it ! Can't give them enough credit.

I should start by stating that I'm studying a healthcare course at the Blackheath lane campus, which has excellent facilities and great staff. We get little to no visits from the student Union as we are not on the main campus and therefore we are left out of events etc. Where the Uni falls down is in regards to organisation, which is far from perfect. A good example would be not receiving placement shifts until the night before going out.

Brilliant. Always feel like there is adequate support for students, the campus is clean, tidy and easy to navigate, and the facilities are fantastic as well.

Campus isn't in an ideal location as there are no shops or restaurants within walking distance. The uni facilities are brilliant though as I am studying sports therapy and the uni has its own sports therapy clinic which gives me an insight into this profession when treating real life patients. The course has a high reputation of 97% employment after graduation and it's something I enjoy so I am determined to go into sports physiotherapy. Teaching is good but could be better due to relying on technology too much and fails sometimes. I prefer pen and paper myself especially for small tasks which don't require technology. Overall though an average university with both positives and negatives, but for a commuter like myself studying a course with a high reputation, it's perfect.

Most supportive midwifery lecturer’s ever! Always there for you no matter what, easy to contact and they offer great advice and feedback. If you are struggling on placement then they are always willing to come and visit you to gage the problem and work as a team to formulate a solution!

This year I am a commuting student so my experiences this year are slightly different to that of my first year. Overall the campus is easily to locate and is somewhat central to Stoke on Trent with easily accessible public transport (and a cab office in the middle of campus) however it is split to two different sides in terms of venues, oneside has the family friendly bar whereas the other is more the sports friendly and nightlife side. As a commuter I have to find a sweet spot for parking... so far I still haven’t found this sweet spot. The facilities now include a new motion capture studio, a VR development room and a completely new Carman studios which is Home of most things art/design/ media based (including games). In terms of courses and careers there is plenty in terms of careers fairs, a healthful careers Center who can work on cvs, interview preparation and helping to find work/ internships. They also host a cv competition for the most creative cv. I currently have affiliations to my students union (committee roles and Trustee) the union is great for advise or if you need a chat, financial help or advise as well as prospective jobs. Mine is quite politically driven which can be a good thing.

The university is great, it’s not too far from anything, it’s very welcoming and it offers a great support network. The communication from lecturers could be better as them taking a week or two to reply isn’t very practicle
