Education wise, this university is great! I did forensic science and it had loads of opportunities towards my coarse and introduced me to an amazing new content and knowledge. This uni has so many connections that become really worth after graduation. The downside of going to staffs is that it’s not very diverse and the town in itself could become quite boring. However the location of Stoke-on-Trent makes it easier and cheaper to travel to either Manchester or Birmingham which is a huge benefit! I did learn and experienced during my stay here, so yes! I would recommend this to anyone else!

I study at the health sciences campus of Staffs Uni. The university is outstanding, all staff are so helpful and always there when you need them. The student support is amazing, nothing is too much to ask and no question is made to feel stupid! The facilities on offer at the university are amazing, the skills labs have upto date technology and the library has all the resources you will ever need.

I am currently studying ecology and conservation, and it's the best thing I ever decided to do. I struggled over the first semester, it was difficult commuting from a while away, however this was the only uni doing the specific course I wanted yet qasnt ready to live on campus. At the end if my first semester I had a meeting with my tutor and award leader and I have never felt more understood and reassured before. Not only is this course filled of lots of feildcourse workshops as well as great lectures, it also has compassionate and understanding staff who dedicate themselves to getting the best generation to succeed.

Campus is modern, spaced out and easy to access with it being right next to the train station. Lecturers are friendly, engaging and easy to approach for help.

Overall Staffordshire university is amazing! The university allows students to become involved in a variety of areas; from student course reps, delegates, union reps to volunteering in different areas. I, myself have become involved as a Psychology course representative and plan on volunteering in the library, which is excellent CV experience. The facilities are great - clean and practical, always a computer available and facilities are always in working order. The only issue students have had is with the parking due to knocking down a building - although the university does try their best for the students to accommodate these issues. The campus itself is large, but easy to navigate. It took me less than one day to know where everything was. Everyone, including other students are very helpful.

I absolutely love it at this university. The teachers are so enthusiastic and the course I am on (Illustration) has a crazy amount of faciloties that really push you to get the most out of the course.

Staffordshire University, overall, is a decent campus. The lecturers are usually very helpful to students when they get stuck with something. However, I believe that the lectures themselves are relatively pointless. Many current and former students complain that a fair amount of lecturers just read from their powerpoint slides and don't really go in depth about the right details. I have had a decent experience with the music department and the facilities are incredible, but a few tweaks need to be made in order to reach towards levels of perfection.

Great university to attend. A lot of money is being invested in campus facilities and upgrading existing buildings.

Most supportive uni in terms or work and mental health. My course amongst some others provides everyone with personal tutors which is a great way to assist learning as you can get in contact with them whenever and you know them on a better level than course leaders. The uni offers a huge variety of courses and facilities and jobs too! The social life isn't amazing but you grow to love it and I couldn't ask to be at a better uni

University life is very enjoyable having no real gripes for the 3 years I have been there. The social side of the university is somewhat lacking compared to the experience friends have at other universitys.

The campus itself is nice. Its more of a city campus than a traditional campus. My course is good, I do film production. A lot of good facilities and help with equipment

I enjoy my course a lot and lecturers are helpful! Although it can be hard trying to get help with assignments as each lecturer/tutor has a different opinion and it affects my %

Living on campus, everyone is so helpful from staffs. Has a wide range of facilities for students to use. Feel very welcoming. #proudtobestaffs

The campus is relatively small, but the facilities have everything you need to be successful. There are millions of pounds worth of equipment available for students to use. The only student nights out they provide are three nights of the week, though two are hosted in a hall, so it's not a legit club.

Campus is great and where it is based , I do product design and we are surrounded by other creative courses which helps and ispires me even more. My experience from my first year has been really great. I made loads of friends older students from the course helped me out and I found the course to be way more interesting and enjoyable than I thought in the first place.

If you live in Staffordshire or the surrounding areas and wanting to live at home but wanting the university experience then Staffordshire University will be the best one for you. The location of the university means it’s easy and accessible to get to. There is a real push for student involvement from the student union so it makes you feel wanted and valued as part of the university, not just being there to pay the tuition fee. Would recommend to anyone

Staffordshire University is cozy compared to most; everything is in close quaters of each other and everyone knows people. Its a culture I enjoy and hope to keep experiencing.

A university that puts more money into open days and flashy buildings than in its students and course content. I feel after 4 years with Staffordshire University a lot more could've been done to "get my money's worth." Despite having world class facilities in my department (film production) Staffs' clunky booking system and inadequate teaching time really took "independent study" to another level. The student's union is either greatly underfunded or just enjoys charging ridiculous prices in its shop and indifferent club nights. Overall, I should've spent £50k elsewhere.

I could do a 1500 word essay on how amazing the university is. The campus is well laid out with everything within a 5 - 10 min walk of each other, the facilities are top notch for all courses, especially art ones. The Psychology department are friendly and willing to help out if you're stuck for how to start an assignment. The SU also has loads of services to offer for those who struggle with study skills, career advice or financial worries, they want you to succeed so help is there when you need it. The only reason I don't rate it higher is because of the city it is in. Stoke On Trent isnt the most wonderful city but thankfully the staffordshire campus is semi secluded from the city centre so I often forget where I am!

The course itself is way better than I thought, honestly enjoyed doing product design more than ever in my first year and can wait to start the second. The location is perfect for me as I live locally and if you have a car it's even better and makes everything easier. All the facilities needed are there, although some of them could be ugraded. In terms of leisure and other facilities on campus it's amazing to , we have a huge bar which serves warm food , art shop on campus with most of things that you might need , and also a shop for For everyday products as well as a coffee shop to , all these are based together which makes it all very convenient. Overall I love it and happy with my choice

The structure of the university helped with the final year project and the atmosphere was fantastic. I would recommend the university to anyone who wants to progress in their studies.
