I had a lot of fun and it was filled with memorable moment that I will not forget. However, I do believe that the songs at the events could be more inclusive as it’s normally the same songs playing.

What a fantastic two weeks of events, meeting new people and getting to know the area. However, if you look at Universities like Birmingham or Loughborough, their freshers looked insane. They had the lastest artists and promoted diversity. For example, Brit Asia hosted Asian nights for them. On the other hand, St Mary's did a fantastic job at including events for people who didn't drink.

Always make sure you have a large cup and a straw it makes pre-drinking so much easier. And also keep a plastic bottle so you can take your drink on the go.

Freshers week was amazing I met so many nice people I partied very hard, and took part in all the events I even joined many clubs that were very good fun over the course of the year. Freshers was amazing the atmosphere and the buzz was great everyone was friendly and the drink prices were cheap to, it was like living in a movie, the parties were crazy and the drinks were great. The transition from high school to university was awesome as well so easy because everyone was so welcoming. The move in was easy as it was in London and it was easy to get to central and it was cheap, the halls were great and clean and the house mates were fantastic I would re do first year all over agin

Fresher’s week was so much fun. We had 2 weeks of events for everyone from whether you liked to party or have a chill night. Met loads of new friends.

I found that the move in day was well organised and there many helpful students that helped me with my bags. However the events on for the freshers were not worth the money I paid for my wrist band. Most of the events weren't that original or creative and there wasn't anything set up to meet people on my course until lectures started. I think they could have done even more freshers events in the day time and thought more creatively for the night time events. I would say though to new students, even if your shy go to at least half of the events because it did make me meet new people and I actually met my best friend whilst complaining about freshers! It's definitely worth going and even though you might not make lasting friendship, you want to make friends with people in your halls so you hang out with them and go to the catered meals with people.
