The campus has all the facilities I need. Career services are appauling and what they try to find for u are not specific to your degree course. No matter how many times u go the same thing is repated. My course is unclear on dates for exams, multiple changes in teachers and so was unsettling.

Brilliant induction and great support throughout the course. Student union and course members were supportive. Campus was clean and accessible. The facilities were to a high standard.

In my experience on an early years course lecturers read off of powerpoint slides with no elaboration and make you feel stupid if you dare to ask them a question. I seem to learn nothing about the topics I’m interested in as lecturers are only interested in you articulating the pass criteria which has lost my interest in the course entirely. If you have a passion for something I definitely wouldn’t recommend studying it here

Collegiate campus is great, with the newly built and modern Heart of the Campus, attached to the surrounding bukdining which are more dated, works reallly well. The Law course is structed very well with a lot of emphasis on employability skills and a focus on the practice of law, similar to what would be expected in a law firm.

Pretty good. I study computing and it’s not bad :) sometimes a bit annoying as tutors are rude but overall good

Had the best three years at University, met friends for life who I am now travelling with. The relatively new collegiate campus was lovely and had lots of facilities. The library staff were my highlight at University. Nothing was too much for them especially when printing my dissertation (very stressful) and having a chat in the early hours of the morning when we were still at the library ! Overall the course was challenging (criminology) and tested my abilities at times however I really enjoyed the majority of my modules and even had the chance to visit Finland, Estonia and Latvia !

The relatively new collegiate campus was beautiful and well designed. The library staff were lovely, chatty and very helpful and supportive during the third year dissertation stress ! My three years at Uni will not be forgotten, had the best time and made friends for life that I am now going to travel the world with. My course (criminology) was difficult and testing at times but overall I really enjoyed it and even had the opportunity to study a module in Finland, visit Estonia and Latvia which I highly recommend (comparative criminal justice module)

A wonderful university in a great student city. Atmosphere is really friendly and you will make friends for life here. Huge campus facilities spread over City and Collegiate, both unique with great cafes and good class rooms. Having studied psychology, teaching standard was fairly good and assessments fair. Hallam focuses not only on getting their students assessments degree, but skills for life.

The University has great facilities and the library is huge! There's plenty of food options however, the food could do with a price reduction!

Excellent support with the course and fabulous mentoring. The student life is fantastic and it is a great city to be in. The accommodation that are private are close by. The trains and other transport methods are close which means you are always being encouraged to travel. I would reccomend the university as it also has fun and energising competition links with sheffield university. This brings a closer unionship of students. The campus is clean and there are lits of restaurants and shopping ceres close by you can take a tram to get to meadowhall and it's really clean. There are lots of care we festivals that are open o most days. They can assist you with cv writing and their are job adverts online. I also have used the career service and found them to be helpful and supported me in applying and gaining a job. I enjoy the food service that they have in the student union. The food is afordable and there are excellent seating places for large groups of people

Facilities are amazing, noting to doubt. The campus is split into two but it is practical with all buildings close by. The cafe is practically cheap and should be open longer hours as in 24/7. The library is the best place on earth. Really student orientated!

Having just finished my first year studying law at Sheffield Hallam University, I can honestly say I have had the best experience so far. The course is extremely well organised and there is enough teaching staff. There are plenty of people to go to if you are struggling with anything from coping with work load to being homesick. The student union is also good as they tend to put on events etc. For example they have done some pretty little thing sample sales where you can buy items for only £2! Overall, I’m glad I chose this uni and can’t wait to start second year!

There's two great campus', the main and bigger campus being the city campus, located directly in the centre, by the train station - ideal for commuters, and the collegiate campus, located just off eccy road, where most second year and third year students live. the student union is located by the city campus and is great for freshers events, the freshers fairs: freebie fair, societies and clubs fairs, also with a cheap bar inside!

Absolutely love my uni. Great atmosphere, brilliant and helpful staff. Wide variety of courses. And there's always events on or something to keep you busy. Very clean and stylish buildings and the best the thing about it is the disability support. Never seen any support network like it before. Beyond words.

The university campus is great, it is in the centre of Sheffield close to the train station and main bus station. Inside the facilities are nice the buildings are looked after and equipped with nice seating areas, computer rooms and several cafes. I have had an alright time at Hallam so far, my course (Aerospace engineering) has been a challenge, there are lots of people available for support for everyone no matter the problem. The lecture theatres are good. Some are very small some are very big, they have desks and some have voting pads for lecture quizzes.

I am grateful that I chose Sheffield Hallam University for my course because I had the best experience and it taught me a lot. The staff is helpful and they offer continuous support, the resources are endless in a 7-story library and I've learned all I imagined. The campus is in the city centre which is very handy for the small breaks between lectures, the facilities are what you expect from a modern university and the Student Union always have an activity going on so you can't get bored if you are a Hallam student!

Sheffield Hallam is a great uni. It's a great course primary education . It's very interesting and you learn lots about different aspects of education. Sometimes they can seem a bit unorganised but that is my only criticism . Library is large and support academic tutorials are good. People enjoy the nightlife. I'm not into it myself so I wouldn't know. Sheffield is great for having nice parks and being next to the peak district. It's mic and how small the centre actually is for being able to walk to the shops

The university is great, there’s so much to get involved with whether that’s sports or clubs or societies and always events going on, varsity is one of the best times of the year and the course itself has been great

Sheffield Hallam university is a brilliant institution for higher education. I studied IT with Business, which is a course that combines two areas and ensures that I am competent in such rapidly growing areas. Throughout my time, I was always provided the support and assurance that I required. Each module was engaging and interesting; therefore, overall I believe it is a fantastic University that I am proud to have studied at.

I study Bsc Sport and Exercise science, the course is set out so everything is easy to understand and help is easy to get from lecturers and staff

Staff are really supportive although communication about changes to courses is not always transmitted efficiently. The university is a great community though
