Amazing effort made by the society in order to involve the students at the university, exceptional dedication of the volunteers who arrange and organise all events without expecting any type of reimbursement.

I loved the Islamic Society, it was very welcoming and inclusive from the start compared to other societies I had attended during fresher's week. They welcomed people from different religious groups and people from varying Islamic viewpoints. It provides a real sisterhood where the Headsis and other girls are there to look out for one another. It also had many socials which were beyond my expectations. At the fresher's week socials, there was plenty of food and drinks to go around, we played entertaining games and had a lot of banter lool. The ISOC is also the most active societies I am a part of where they usually have at least one talk about topics recommended by the members. In addition, it has many charity events which benefitted many poor and suffering individuals around the world as well as the local community.

The society are very friendly and approachable. However, I would've liked to have been welcomed better when I started my first year.

A lovely friendly and fun society that organise social events often. Met lots of different people on other courses and years through this society

A very inclusive and enjoyable society that involve themselves in a lot of charity work and raising awareness of a variety of issue affecting students in today's day and age. Provides classes and workshops targeting many faith based issues.
