The university is very supportive and organised with good lecturers and all lectures are recorded which is very helpful

The university is great socially. It's a campus university, as opposed to most London universities which have different blocks and departments for different courses. This means you can easily become friends with people from all courses, which gives you a wider range of people to interact with. The library facilities are great, 8 hour laptop loans, 24/7 library for the whole year (bar winter and summer holiday where the library usually closes at 7:30pm), helpful staff etc.

To be able to acknowledge reality at university. Lectures very informative and helpful in understanding the concept of the modules.

The Mile End campus is a fantastic campus as it is very compact which makes going to and from lectures convenient. The location of the campus is also excellent as it is just a few tube stops away from many of the the exciting zone 1 areas. The campus is very well maintained and security do an excellent job of making the campus a safe place. I study economics which is taught by very experienced individuals who make the learning process interesting and captivating. There is plenty of student support and careers advice available. One thing in particular I like about my course is that the School of Economics and finance give us plenty of opportunities to gain work experience.

I love everything about this university ranging from the facilities to the campus mainly because they have a great shop called the village shop which serves great food but furthermore is the only campus to sell alcoholic drinks which I believe most students would prefer.

The stuff is really helpful and student services are really great. 24 hour library is great for students who can't work effectively from home.

Queen Mary, University of London is a fantastic, research led institution with a diverse and well supported student body. Recent investment across it's main campuses has enhanced the student experience further. In the heart of the east end, student life at QMUL is vibrant, exciting and full of opportunities.

It's very inclusive, the campus is very diverse, offers a large variety of food which caters for all dietary choices. The faculties are amazing and have great tutors and great services. The library is open 24/7 and has a prodigious amount of books.

Wonderful and engaging literature staff, lecturers and seminar leaders are consistently wonderful and helpful. The only issue is the broken fire alarms that frequently go off.

Despite the university itself being smaller than other campus universities, you will definitely find somewhere to belong.

My experience at QMUL was incredibly mixed. I studied law and graduated this summer. The Law facilities were great; lecturers and tutors were awesome and helpful- they were all very passionate about the subject. However with limited office hours it was quite difficult especially in third year to get one on one time in. Aesthetically, Some of the classrooms were dated so I think the law building could do with a bit of a revamp! With bigger classes at times people have to get extra chairs from other empty classes and the whole room is full, with literally no room to get up and go out. A nightmare for claustrophobes!! I don't know if that's an allocation issue but especially for Jurisprudence semester 2, it was anxiety inducing picking which seminar to attend for fear of being stuck with 50 people in one room. Extra curricular affairs were good! But there could be more done to promote! There's lots of support for entrepreneurs which I will still be utilising even post Grad. Overall my experience was good.

The School of Biological and Chemical Sciences (SBCS) at QMUL is an excellent place to undertake further education. I am in the 4th year of my Chemistry degree, and I have found the overall quality of teaching to be of a high standard. One can expect to work closely with academic staff, who fully engage and are clearly passionate about their respective areas of research. The Joseph Priestly Building, where the chemistry facilities and faculty are situated, contains freshly refurbished undergraduate labs and access to a wide variety of instrumentation, including multiple FTIR, UV/Vis and NMR spectrometers. One small negative is generally the lack of available space in areas for student learning, such as the library, due to the large number of students across the university. However, QMUL is an excellent university and I would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Overall quite good, social scene isn't as good as other unis seem to be, no shows or actual exciting extra curriculara, staff in my department are very nice and always willing to help. Focus on careers in second year could improve

Nice campus society that has everything you need in close range. The student union is very proactive and always take into account students views and concerns. As well as this, the library is very nice and clean with plenty of space to study and focus on your work. You are able to make appointments with the career officers that can help with interviews and cv workshops.

Queen Mary is an amazing university with great facilities. However food sold on campus is very pricey. The spanish department is not organized. And they don't care about you. As a final year student. I really enjoyed my time at QM wish people in my course knew what they were doing and were more organized.

My overall experience at QMUL for the past four years has been generally positive. The facilities on Campus are great and have comtributed immensly to my learning experience. However, as an international student, I feel like more support should be provided by the organisation as well as more payment options for the Tuition Fees. I am currently in my fourth year of study for a Bachelor Degree in Electronics with Music. The course in general is well structured but some modules were not very organised which sometimes affected my learning experience negatively.

I studied in the EECS department of QMUL. Pretty terrible and definitely not worth your £9k. No money is being used to develop the facilities nor invest in students' educations.

Campus structure is great as you can easily get to any and every building. Course is good in terms of its wide scope- learning in a variety of sub fields. Careers services are not very helpful as the meetings are too short and awkward. Organisation isn't really a strong point but there is an air of calmness which is at first strange but ultimately helps to not become too stressed over things.

The campus is very small and is usually packed with people during day time, but it has some nice spots shuch as the canal side. There is not many places where u can socialise between lectures and most of the time u will not find a space to go. The course is good but the teaching quality is not great. Student union try to make changes but they also makes a lot of changes to improve religious practices rather than sduent life experience for example they refurbished the biggest social hall in uni last year with a new carpet so that they close it every Friday exclusively for Friday prayers for Muslims students which is unfair for other students who want to use the place.

Nice campus, but can be unorganised at times. Good amount of societies and a great opportunity to make new friends.

I am a university student studying maths so the course is very hard! The lecturers are either amazing or can't teach properly and it's either one or the other. There are places to sit and work but overall there needs to be more campus space for revision as places fill up very quickly and it's annoying when you can't find a place to sit and revise.
