Queen mary is the only university in london which has a campus. You can find all your facitilities on campus and a thriving student population. Everything is close by in the area, with a variety of shops.

QMUL has many things about it that stand out from other universities in London, namely its Campus. Although a strong point, a lot of the buildings including that of the Law building could do with a refresh or a clean lick of paint. The law course that I’m studying is both engaging and challenging whilst all the meanwhile creating an environment that encourages you to succeed.

Great uni. Greater experience. Although the location isn't the greatest, the teaching and social life makes up for it

An inclusive university with excellent pastoral care, the university makes everyone feel as though they belong. The campus has a lovely coffee shop 'Ground' which is a nice place to hang out or get some work done.

Good uni, teacher's provide maximum support for the students and a easy campus to move around. Also the student union is very very helpful with a major support. Parking is also good. Ive had a great experience so far and this is the same for my other colleagues and students I like I hope the rest of my study at Queen Mary University will finish the same way it started in addition the introduction to my course was extremely thorough and well introduced with the lecturers and students getting to know each other through a social drink that was organised VR the lecturers

Friendly nature around the campus, big campus with a lot of different facilities - good laboratory areas, big library and common rooms to sit in and work etc. Good fitness facilities also available on campus. Online facilities are very good - lecture slides and recordings available online as well as access to multiple different databases such as PubMed and journals online in order to enable students to complete homework and carry out further research - this can be accessed on campus as well as at home. Students union and societies are good at allowing students to meet new people, many activities put on suitable for multiple people with different interests.

The Mile End campus is a fantastic campus as it is very compact which makes going to and from lectures convenient. The location of the campus is also excellent as it is just a few tube stops away from many of the the exciting zone 1 areas. The campus is very well maintained and security do an excellent job of making the campus a safe place. I study economics which is taught by very experienced individuals who make the learning process interesting and captivating. There is plenty of student support and careers advice available. One thing in particular I like about my course is that the School of Economics and finance give us plenty of opportunities to gain work experience.

I love everything about this university ranging from the facilities to the campus mainly because they have a great shop called the village shop which serves great food but furthermore is the only campus to sell alcoholic drinks which I believe most students would prefer.

Queen Mary, University of London is a fantastic, research led institution with a diverse and well supported student body. Recent investment across it's main campuses has enhanced the student experience further. In the heart of the east end, student life at QMUL is vibrant, exciting and full of opportunities.

It's very inclusive, the campus is very diverse, offers a large variety of food which caters for all dietary choices. The faculties are amazing and have great tutors and great services. The library is open 24/7 and has a prodigious amount of books.

Wonderful and engaging literature staff, lecturers and seminar leaders are consistently wonderful and helpful. The only issue is the broken fire alarms that frequently go off.

The School of Biological and Chemical Sciences (SBCS) at QMUL is an excellent place to undertake further education. I am in the 4th year of my Chemistry degree, and I have found the overall quality of teaching to be of a high standard. One can expect to work closely with academic staff, who fully engage and are clearly passionate about their respective areas of research. The Joseph Priestly Building, where the chemistry facilities and faculty are situated, contains freshly refurbished undergraduate labs and access to a wide variety of instrumentation, including multiple FTIR, UV/Vis and NMR spectrometers. One small negative is generally the lack of available space in areas for student learning, such as the library, due to the large number of students across the university. However, QMUL is an excellent university and I would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Nice campus society that has everything you need in close range. The student union is very proactive and always take into account students views and concerns. As well as this, the library is very nice and clean with plenty of space to study and focus on your work. You are able to make appointments with the career officers that can help with interviews and cv workshops.

QMUL is the only campus University in London, and it's all the better for it. Fostering a sense of community I don't think is found at other London universities, this place offers a distinct experience as you go through your degree course of choice. Drapers is crap, but it's home. The library is spacious, modern and quiet. The societies are broad and all-encompassing. Highly recommended.

Queen Mary has been like a natural home away from home for me. The members of the staff have been of great support and I wouldn't have been able to complete my master's degree without their guidance. Careers services is phenomenal as they actively organise events, workshops and career fairs for students to attend. Keep it up!!!

I ended up here even though this was not my preferred University and it was not even my preferred degree course! Actually, I put this as my penultimate choice through UCAS, but it was my insurance choice. This was mostly because during my University search, I found people who were too harsh in their opinions and thoughts; thus, being influenced by third-parties, I misjudged this University. QUEEN MARY IS AMAZING! I love the campus, the people, my degree... and there is a whole list! For people with high expectations, I think you should appreciate the values and the skills that you gain through your university experience rather than the appearance or the streets of East London. Really, if you are still thinking about everything being shiny and perfect, forget University level education. You are meant to gain intellectual and personal strength, developing your full self. I think university should teach you how to become independent and solve your problems and challenges creatively. For me, Queen Mary did this and I am really happy being here.

The university has great facilities such as interactive smart white boards, macbook desktops and great sports areas. They are constantly improving study areas such as the library as the student union takes feedback from the students regularly. Last year they decided to make the library opened 24/7 as the students requested. Careers services is very helpful. The staff are well trained in helping students find opportunities and graduate schemes are shared over emails on the regular.
