Manchester Metopolitan is a nice university set in the heart of Manchester. It has different facilities to help students. The best thing about the university is the career support and jobs4students. The career support team have helped me a lot in getting my CV up to scratch and checking my cover letter which has landed me potential interviews. The university offer students jobs on campus which gives them the experience they need for the outside job market and gain some money at the same time. Its a win win!

The campus is accessible and resourceful. The course I am currently part taking is educational and supportive to all students. The union consists of many different services that are useful. My experience at this university is very positive and I enjoy it

Facilities at Manchester met uni are exceptional with the new business school which loads of resources to help with studies. Only negative said is the way they work their accommodation service as it leaves people without accommodation (eg me) due to their poor service.

The teachers provide a lot of support to the students; universiry itself has a lot of facilities for the students to know that if they require any help, where such help would be found.

I study film and english and have done for over 5 years, studying film at mmu has been incredibly interesting and engaging. Getting to watch films and have lectures in old theatres is a great experience and something i’ll always remember. Most tutors are extremely helpful and seem genuinely interested in what they do, however not enough guidance is given, especially taking into consideration the amount of money put into the university by myself and other students. Overall, I wouldn’t choose to go to any other university, it’s been a great experience and i’ll be sad to leave.

The location is really great it's just outside of town so far enough from the hustle but close enough to be able to nip in. The campus has everything it could need within arms reach including a huge students union, supermarkets loads of different accommodations and a gym. The teaching is great and has fantastic student support. MMU has loads of sports societies and other societies so there's deffo something for everyone.

Small campus and small groups which is great for one on one tutoring with the lectures. Location is good, not far from Liverpool, Manchester. Close to train station which has easy access to all the big cities including direct link to London.

The campus and facilities are really good. Better than most places very modern up to date and full of resources that are easily accessible. Course has a lot of potential to be better however I’m only first year and understand we need to find our feet first. Expecting the course work to get better and more exciting as I progress.

The main campus is great and seems to accommodate everyone’s needs. There is a new building being built which is a good sign and the arts are pretty much covered. Unfortunately some of my tutors are not being brought back next year due to government cuts therefore I probably won’t get the quality of education I am paying so much for which is a shame.

Pretty good so far, the campus is nice and I love my course! The lectures are helpful and kind. The campus is pretty spread out however, meaning it’s hard to navigate at first but you soon get used to it.

Students Union is pretty good. lots of events, cheap drinks. campus easy to navigate. needing a computer sucked, there was never enough. got to do a placement year which was awesome.

I have a love/hate with MMU. Some of the teachers are fantastic and so help then there are others just just don't care. The University itself is very beautiful but could do with a lot more planning.

Every part of my uni experience has been brilliant, from the classes to halls. All top notch! Manchester has brilliant night life and loads of culture and mmu has brilliant lectures that really want you to do well

Overall my university has excellent services which support student needs. Ranging from drop in sessions, group counselling which can help meet new people going through similar experiences and course support from mentors, tutors and external services such as links emailed to student accounts about external research, revision resources and participating in research, events held as the university and outside the university (they had a psychology networking event outside university which we were informed about to attend). A number of different societies to join to meet new people and emerse yourself into student life. The student union is cheap, and decent food. However sometimes you can be waiting like an hour or someone on your table will get theirs and finish before you’ve been given your food (but awkward when you’re trying to eat out with friends). Saying that it produces jobs for the students to gain experience. Additionally they have excellent connections with external employers, meaning they advise jobs for graduates suited to their field as well as during studying to gain skills and knowledge of an area you wish to go in. Regular pop up employer events are held and a range of extra classes to support your studies such as critical writing classes, analysis classes, grammar classes, language classes, how to speak confidentally classes and so on. They also have more chill extra classes such as fun problem solving ones, playing with dough etc. My course is interesting and coursework isn’t too heavy. Only down side would be the hardness of interaction between students. Amazing cafes and food places, met card allows for easy payment. Supplies at the union range from food to art supplies to sports wear and Mmu hoodies.
