A good university, located in central London which means a good access to main central locations from campus. The teaching staff are very experienced, and in my opinion they provide a very interesting perspective by mixing academic theories with real life examples which really helps you to develop skills and knowledge which is practical and can be used in day to day business. It has a very good job centre called the jobshop which provides a lot of opportunities There are students from many different backgrounds so it is a very diverse environment, whcih makes studying there very exciting. One the negative side though, the IT system is not the best and the timetable system can get messed up several times during the semester which means you have to be contacting others to make sure you have got the right time. Lack of printers in the London road building is definitely a downside as you have to go all the way to the library if you need to print something. And the price of printing is not the best as it is more expensive than me previous university. There are good number of pc's available in the library, but they run on windows 7 which is not the latest, however they all function well so it is not really an issue. Overall I am having a great time at LSBU, and the quality of education I am receiving is definitely very high.

The university is well spaced out, has very good equipment for my course (Creative Advertising with marketing) it’s is also very small so the direct teaching you get is very high. I am part of the student representative team and I feel the issues that get raised get dealt with very well. The buildings are slightly old unfortunately so they are a little disappointing to work in. I don’t feel like there are very good clubs on site and being in London o feel like the student vibe is slightly lost compared to other city universities.

Great university which offer a great range of study material and help through lectures and seminars. The food is good as there is always a different variety daily, which is fresh and for a reasonable price. The library area has decreased, computer wise which is a downfall for those wanting to complete work at the university library. Other than that the books and help from librarians is great.

I think LSBU gives exactly what it offers. I study English Literature with Creative Writing and London, particularly the South Bank area, is such a useful location for making that course in particular worthwhile. You're surrounded by theatres and arts facilities. The course itself at the University is excellent too. The Creative Writing modules give all sorts of creative freedom with informative, support lectures who have passion and knowledge to inspire you. Similarly, the lecturers for the literature modules are also very helpful, engaging and attentive. I look forward to going into each lecture. Outside of the course, there's a wide range of societies to join, a great student bar and the staff are all helpful and friendly. It's a great campus to just sit and study or chat. There's also often something going on as activities in the student centre for fundraising purposes

London south bank is university filled with countless learning opportunities for multiple students. It's a community of education that is both open and welcome to different cultures, races and religions as well to people that identify as a different sex and people with learning difficulties and disabilities. Attending lsbu means that you truly get to learn who you are.

The facilities and the teaching has been up to my standard. There is a lack of spaces to study e.g. Can only study in the library. So the uni could be more spacious. Also some communication with staff is slow

The campus is modern and is easy to navigate. All of my classes are easy to follow and have lecturers and seminar leaders who are enthusiastic and available to help during extra support hours

It's a very good university with many facilities, it's my first year there and I'm really enjoying it. All the services and the staff are actually impressing.

I studied my BA here back in 1999, PG Dip in 2006 and am currently back completing an MA in Town Planning. Everything is available in a compact campus and Central London is on the doorstep!

My experience at LSBU although sometimes the ability to actually find somewhere to sit down and eat was hard as most of the places were already taken and we couldn't go to the library as no hot food is allowed. My course director was amazing.

I have recently started attending this university and am absolutely fulfilled in the choice I made. I am studying law and I find the lecturers to be more supportive than I expected. Another thumbs up is for how they have a wellbeing team always there and very visible should a student need any form of help or just someone to talk to every now and again. This university has many societies and many opportunities for us as law students to attend various events from getting the chance to see lawyers in action to hearing about someone's inspirational journey to making it where they want to in life. Thank you LSBU!

Decent enough university within an okay area of London, with good access to surrounding locations. Not much to do in the student union, and there are very few societies worth joining.

Considering all the people said it wasn't a good university I actually really enjoyed my time here. It may not be the top university but as long as you do what is necessary to achieve that all that matters. The staff were great to teach especially in the lectures. I'd totally do the whole experience all over again.

This university’s location is brilliant, accessible and exceptionally convenient as it close to numerous bus stops, and nearby train stations that allow me to commute to uni everyday without fail. The facilities at london southbank are sufficient and include a library which is where majority of the students spend their time to complete assignments and revise.

LSBU is a great place to study a vocational course, especially healthcare related. They have lots of facilities and skills labs where you can practise skills before going out into practice. The Southwark campus is in a great location in Elephant and Castle.

The uni location is great where the campus is near by to the study areas etc. Quick to get to different places.

There is an infinite amount of support from the lecturers as well as the seminar tutors of the module that it is pretty impossible not to fail anything with their help.
