Handball

Excellent organisation and committee, with cheaper than average membership fee. Hall rentals are free and we have full use of the space for 2 hours every Tuesday. The session slots are good because there’s time to go through drills as well as play games at the end. However, I would like an additional session per week to improve the standard of play, which is very possible. The social experience is phenomenal and everyone gets involved.

Our university provides us with a fund to buy all the equipment necessary for this club to run. As well as being able to train in a full sized sports hall. We are given 3 and a half hours training split over two sessions throughout the week. Socially, this sports club is one of the best, it is like a small but close family who all want to spend lots of time together. Unfortunately it is not yet a BUCS sport so the only games tend to be on weekends. But this means we get to go on mini weekend breaks together to compete to be uni champions.

I love this society, I would love to see us move to Bucs if possible, I also would love to see us partake in more friendly matches for practice but the social part of handball is amazing
