The location of the university is perfect as most of it is in the city centre. The thing they are lacking is not having a student union bar for us to go to. My course is accounting and finance and the support and resources given was amazing and most of the lecturers really cared towards helping students. The careers service was great, offering interviews and job opportunities. Overall an amazing university.

The facilities in the sport science faculty are top notch, great to get an experience working in science labs, applying research into practice

Very good university, made me feel very welcome and the standard of the teaching in sport science is second to none

The staff are friendly and willing to help with any issues, some more than others but that's the case in any university. The buildings are modern and have good facilities. The libraries are close to the campuses with is good although they could use more laptops/computers as around exam/assignment time it gets pretty full meaning it's hard to find a space to work. The lecture theatres are adequate, a lot of the time the microphones don't work making it hard to hear though so this could be improved. Overall it's a decent university in a good city. The nightlife in Liverpool is pretty good. There's lots of bars and clubs that play all kinds of music to suit everyone.

John Moores has 3 campuses,I mainly use the city (Byrom) campus although occasionally I will use the library at the Mount Pleasant campus as it's not as busy. The campus has been refurbished and the social areas all have computers, printing facilities and hot food. The Pharmacy course is brand new and they have put a lot of work into making it a competitive course that prepares you well for pre-reg. There is a lot of support available if you ask for it.

My uni campus is overall very good especially for the price I pay for it, the room I have here is bigger than the one I have at home which is amazing I have so much more space and I only have to pay £106 a week which compared to other accommodations is an absolute steal and I would highly recommend this accommodation to any family's that might not be lucky enough to have a high income, the name of my accommodation is liberty gardens.

The university had it's ups and downs. The maths department are a serious up. The lack of support for those who need a counsellor is a serious down. The university is the best decision I made to attend here 4 years ago when I started to study as an undergrad and now I'm beginning a PhD. There is great resources and support from everyone but when you step out of the course if when things start to get a bit shady in terms of continued support

The uni is good, well organized with really friendly staff and interetting courses. The uni also offers a free gym membership which is difficult to obtain because of high demand but does help financially.

Liverpool John Moores is an amazing university with great resources and friendly staff members. As a student who had to move a distance to attend this university it has been nothing but helpful with helping me deal with homesickness.

Great uni! Did my undergraduate degree and now doing MA degree here. Staff are great and really supportive and helpful. Facilities could be better and things like heating, room spaces, etc. But I understand logistically, it's not always workable. SU has gotten better and it's great to have a real knowledge of what is available for students

Great staff, enjoyable lectures. Could improve with student support I.e more 1 to 1's. Research is easy with good facilities

My first year of uni was a bit of a flop as I was studying events management and the course was in no way shape or form the level or calibre that would be expected of a university course. However, I changed to marketing and and ended up graduating with a first and received multiple awards. I received so much support and gratitude throughout my years there and built strong relationships with multiple tutors. Everyone here is so willing to help, whether that be personal, financial or educational support, there is always someone there to listen to you.

Good quality of teaching for the most part. The buildings are well equipped and not too far from each other. The libraries are fully equipped and a lot of space however they are always full and more private spaces would be good. Everything is always clean and constantly updated.

My course is brilliant! A plethora of field trips for no extra fee, a state of the art GIS suite, exceptional tutors who are willing to help with any issues. Not too much career advice as I'm a first year but still helped to begin the process of thinking of the future.

For a university, you cannot go wrong with this choice. I feel the teaching and tutors are excellent and really passionate in their work and want you to do he best you can. The university is in an excellent location, perfect for students. Facilities are good but not the best but good enough. And there is a Starbucks too!

Great university, struggles sometimes with help for students with family problems etc. Could improve communication with students in order to maintain happiness within the university.

Very good time, the uni is great but the city is even better. Liverpool nightlife is mega and the chicken shops are something else. Really enjoyed my course, didn’t join any sports teams but I’ve heard they’re very good and offer a lot of fun. Definitely consider LJMU. Uni halls are also top quality from what I’ve seen during my time there.

LJMU has really good library services with numerous buildings dotted around the city. The careers team is knowledgeable and very helpful, the lectures listen to students and try to improve the way they teach to most benefit the students.

Good university, social side is lacking as there’s no social union and the campus isn’t the prettiest but good for education

The personal tutors are great and support the students how ever I seem to find the career zone and student engagement useless and it helpful
