Imperial College London

Good and cosy campus but would prefer if all halls of residence were near campus and not spread out across London. Some halls are in North Acton whereas main campus is in South Kensington. Lots of places to eat and drink on campus which is great. Student discounts make campus food much more affordable than eating out. Decent careers service but would prefer more talks within departments in first year so we know what help is available. Also personal tutors should be better trained in CV/internship/job matters.

The college is a classic example of societal integration involving different communities. The student support is fabulous. Just less harmonious konkoction of festivals around. The sports facility is fabulous, Student hub always ready to help. Should have more enjoyable college life.

Great campus, lots of things going on ranging from careers events, festivals, talks, society events... Good student union as well, plenty of societies to choose from so you'll definitely find one that you like.

amazing facilities, library is huge enough for students to study. best part would be the gym membership which only costs 40 pounds for four years!

Pretty nice, just make sure you stay on top of your work and get involved with lots of societies. Also there are a lot of international students but a lot of them are alright, just get used to seeing a Lot of rice cookers in halls.

I'm currently studying Medicine at Imperial - the location is great, there is always so much to do and try out in London. The facilities are amazing, especially because there is so much research going on that you can get involved with. There is a lot of support for students for anything you may need - happy I applied here.

The student union are all really friendly and willing to help with any problems you have, including providing notes and running tutorials etc. to help with actual course content. Imperial’s Mums And Dads scheme is also really comforting and useful both in terms of getting used to living indepently (uni life generally) and as a platform for academic help- my medic parents are always ready to provide advice on assignments or help any way they can!

Chemistry course is pretty foundational in the first year, so it's not too exciting, though the new topics are definitely the eye openers. The experiments and computational coursework is a load of fun and are all very unique.

Free gym for the students. An amazing social life that includes drinks deals at student organised events (which is really important for an expensive place like London). Courses are all recorded and lectures are uploaded onto the website. Very good well-being facilities and pastoral care - especially considering how high achieving the university is.

The university, the lectures and assistance are good. Students from all around the world gives me the chance to make a lot of new friends. The library is big and newly refurbished but will quite pack especially at noon.

It is certainly a very good university, despite the fact that univerisity life here is highly stressful. The chemistry course is well-structured with appropriate lab hours. The student union is at times not very efficent but not bad in general. I have enjoyed my experience

There is so much work to do and not enough hours in the day. Going to this uni is touch, don't expect much free time.

It’s awesome, for real! We have great professors and an amazing teaching system. I’m so lucky to be studying here, so are people who teach me haha. My course is exactly what i was expecting. Facilities are new and really good fashion standards.

The layout of the syllabus in my course is by far the most enjoyable part in my studies here. There's a lot of freedom in choosing and carrying out our idea in projects. Lab supervisors are supportive and always give us a 'lecture' to how we approach our problems and give us a taste of what is really happening in the real world, by demonstrating real life problems we would encounter.

Fantastic university, great place to study in the heart of London! Both the academic and student lives are really good and likely to develop your interests.

Located in the heart of London, this bustling University provides top-class education from the leaders of its fields. Imperial College, London always strives to be student centred because they strongly believe that students' views matter. The campus in South Kensington is large and equipped with several cafes and bars. The majority of lectures are held here, except if you're a medic which means you will also be in Reynolds Building, Charing Cross Hospital. The University provides a lot of help and academic resources and useful tips and guidance on revision. The sessions are fun, engaging, thought-provoking and challenging. The course has also been structured so modules studied simultaneously accompany each other! The student union hold a lot of events as well as the clubs and societies. Imperial College has the most clubs and societies than any other university in the world! the medics also have their own events and clubs and a fortnight of freshers instead of the single week for non-medics. The staff and students are very helpful and communication between students and staff and students are easy, clear and and good via emails and social media. Imperial College opens its doors to international students and it has a very high cultural diversity with people from all around the world!! The University holds sessions on mindfulness and understands that students may feel the pressures of work so have awareness week and also have representatives in staff and student for welfare. An excellent University!! Simply the best - better than all the rest!!!!!

Imperial had many societies to offer and its rankings speak for itself in regards to the teaching. Despite the halls being expensive, the sense of community is great and, mostly, good distances from the teaching campuses.

I am very content as a Maths first year undergraduate in Imperial. I particularly like Imperial’s course structure compared to orher universities and I feel that the campus provides adequate resources for us to excel.

Imperial is known to be a dead uni with no fun people or parties but I beg to differ. It really does depend on the kind of person you are and the kind of people you hang out with. You can absolutely have an amazing uni experience here at Imperial

I'm a design engineering student and have found the course to exceed expectations for the most part. My course is relatively new, so it has room for improvement, but the department is very accepting of feedback and makes changes quickly.

Smart people everywhere, meaning you'll become smarter. Smart things happen so you become smarter. Smart dress code mean you'll look fly and smart. Smart teaching so you'll become smart.

Great campus with lots of facilities (gym with swimming pool and spa facilities and lots of food/coffee outlets) and study places (central library as well as faculty study areas). The main downside is that it is a very stressful place to study with lots of deadlines and pressure.

There is a great student union and lots of societies and clubs to join! The library is huge and South Kensington is a beautiful place to be!
