The university is very well run and the facilities are outstanding. From a social perspective, it is exactly what you'd expect from a science based university.

Maybe a great place for students, but not great for staff. Hammersmith Campus location is terrible. There hardly any facilities for research staff at Hammersmith campus. The labs have instruments from 1980s. There is a fight over desk space, not enough seating spaces. The work is affected by the very slow and bureaucratic work flow. The Hammersmith campus is very depressing with no social groups/activities. The work culture is not great. There are some good things like education development centre where they have free training and workshops for staff.

The campus building is moderate, some of the place is great, some of them is too old. A lot of advive given on career service.

The course is difficult, but also very rewarding. After doing so much work, the sense of achievement you gain is unparalleled. The administration team can be a bit useless, mainly because of numerous timetable errors they've made over my time in uni. However, this hasn't affected my enjoyment too much. The campus is clean and modern, and in general has good facilities. The union is close to the university, and offers so many different activities - no matter what you enjoy, you can always find something to get involved with. The careers service is also useful, providing good quality advice.

Excellent food outlets - union curly fries and pieminister are the real winners. South Kensington is a lovely area for the main campus. Lots of great clubs and societies. Male-female ratio disappointing and bad at dealing with mental health. Good bursary scheme makes living in London affordable

The campus of Imperial College is rather old, but they are trying to make improvements to their facilities. By adding a gym, and ditching the Ethos company, they could continue to make more money and attract more students. The on campus pub is a nice place to grab a pint and hang out, however to get a table you have to go really early. All in all, imperial is a decent school with a great location.

Great university experience, I study physics there. Whilst the university experience as a whole has been great, the university and physics department themselves need a lot of work. The university invests millions into fossil fuels whilst being "eco" and the physics department runs weirdly, and the whole exam thing is a bit of mess. But overall, my time here has been a solid 4/5.

Excellent university with great facilities in West London. Teaching staff are world class and usually good at sorting students academically. The downside is a generally overly competitive vibe in the university and poorer pastoral support. As long as you are proactive and try to maintain a healthy work life balance the experience is a good one.

Goodnlecture theatres and good library; loads of books- rarely need to buy textbooks. Hard to access college GP appointments and doctors are rude

The campus is amazing, you feel safe around the campus even at late nights. The only problem is that there is not much food options around the campus. The facilities are by far the best part with a lot of high tech gear in-house, student can expect to experience working with it throughout their program. The student union is fairly active, with most activities running on wednesday. You can be spoil for choice on choosing which societies to join. Overall, I feel that Imperial is worth every penny if you can afford it.

I studied Biology at Imperial at the South Kensington Campus. In comparison to my expectations, I found the buildings to be quite run-down including interiors, however, during my course, they did upgrade the Central Library interiors on 2 floors and made great working spaces. I did not enjoy my first year of University. It was in particular the course BCM that I did not like. However, I absolutely loved my second and third year and would therefore recommend the course. I was disappointed to say the least that my career prospects were not as bright as I had liked, which was something I discovered once I got on the job market, and that is despite me finishing with a 1st so please do a Masters if you want to stay in research.

Brilliant college with amazing facilities and professors to learn from. Can be very intense at times, however the gain is worth the pain. Wonderful supportive people all around with a vast variety of cultures and personalities.

I studied an MSc in Climate Change, Management and Finance from Imperial College London from 2017-2018. It was a wonderful experience. The career facilities were amazing and I did end up with a lot of opportunities in my hand due to the careers service. Overall, I would definitely recommend anyone to study at Imperial College London because the experience is invaluable.

Campus in a really nice place. Course is challenging and whilst it takes a while to get used to, can get fun later on. Careers service not the best but students usually end up in whatever they choose to do, and companies look for graduates from here too.

The school provides good teaching with one of the best researching facilities. Campus is slightly scattered for biomdeical science course and chemistry as so for halls which makes it difficult to travel to campus.

Based in South Ken, the Imperial campus is so beautiful, lively and full of opportunity. The main library is open nearly 24/7 and there are loads of different qork spaces. The heavy research basis of Imperial means there is a lot of opportunity for individuals to pursue their interests.

The university, though relatively compact, has great facilities for students to study and research. The career services of Imperial is excellent, and the organisation of the experience was clear and easy to understand.

While not the most beautiful campus around, Imperial College provides good student support in terms of: careers services (such as CV checks & career advice), international student support, research help (from departmental librarians) and more. The facilities are pretty neat, with a large central library and well-equipped computer labs with fast computers. Social-wise, there is a lot going on in Imperial College, with many student clubs and student-led events.

Great university academically! You learn slots nd gain a lot of skills that are very applicable to your relevant work industry which means getting jobs is much easier and more doors/opportunities are open as an imperial student. But when it comes to lifestyle not so much a healthy lifestyle. A lot of people I know personally go through challenging depression moments and different mental health break downs due to the sheer pressure and stress. It's getting better as the university is getting more aware but still more needs to be done.

Great uni, very challenging, needs hard working people, amazing location, not ideal for people who gets stressed easily

Imperial is a fantastic university for medicine. I love that it is so central in London and that the medical school is associated with lots of hospitals around the city. The teachers and medical staff are at the top of their fields, and there is amazing research done at the university. The only downfall I see is that the medical school can be quite disorganised and difficult to navigate, mainly because it is made up by so many parts. However, overall, Imperial provides incredible opportunities to learn and grow, all within London and internationally.

The campus is in a brilliant location and well spaced out. The facilities provided on my course are upcoming and up to date. However, sometimes feel like the faculty of our course are against the students. Being the first year of the course, feels slightly unorganised and haphazard sometimes.

The university doesn’t spend enough money on students. Most of students here are rather socially awkward.... but you also become friends with some of the best people you’ll ever meet!

Campus is located in central london- right next to the science and natural history museums. Gorgeous area. Facilities relatively high tech but could be more impressive for imperial- I suppose that’s what’s happening with the new White city campus. The course is pretty good but pretty biochemistry to start with ahhh.
