Although the campus is far away it's still so well well connected to the city with a beautiful campus with so many individual study areas as well!

The campus is beautiful in the sun and provides multiple study spaces and resources for students. The faculty for interpretation and translation has equipment that is unrivaled by other universities in the UK including replicas of the booths used at UN meetings. It could improve by showing more organisation when it comes to giving back grades and by installing more water fountains around the campus. Overall it is an excellent environment for learning with great faculty members and equipment.

I love Heriot-Watt’s campus, the student union has fantastic staff and are very helpful. My course is great and meets all the expectations I had. The accommodation on campus is excellent. All around great experience so far.

Modern campus, very STEM oriented but has lots of facilities for business and languages as well. All staff are lovely and care a lot about their degree material, going above and beyond to ensure students get a good level of education.

I really enjoy going to Heriot watt. It’s been very inclusive since I arrived. The lecturers are very helpful and inviting if you have any questions and they always do their best to help you

Really good Actuarial science course. Professors are helpful and they guide us well. Although it is very stressful, it is worth it as we can get professional exemptions when we’re done with it.

Lovely open campus with woodland walks, everything is in one place. Plenty of places to sit and eat and a variety of different foods available. Easy access to the careers service with brochures available to take away and have a look through. Plenty of computer and study areas, with a massive library and online library to find the books you need. Great sports facilities and clubs with the gym being on campus.

The thing that makes Heriot Watt so unique is that everything is in one massive campus. There are so many facilities such as a hotel, places of worship etc. I study Actuarial science which is a fairly complex degree which has been simplified by the standard of teaching and mentoring support available. We also have a careers service that aids us to shape our futures.

Heriot watt is a good university in terms of academics however it is not located in a prime location and is mission to get to, if heriot watt was located in Edinburgh centre, it would be so much more better

I love living at Heriot watt, great community feeling. The positive "vibe" helps me to enjoy my course due to never feeling I need to struggle alone. The halls are lovely which just adds to my comfort of my freshers experience

The campus is absolutely beautiful and in a fantastic location for travel, right next to the M8 and it has a whole load of buses that pass through. It really gains its stars from its global opportunities which enable students to travel to Dubai and Malaysia for a semester or a year. this is a fantastic opportunity. The lecturers are a little varied in quality although overall I have learnt a lot at this university, having a few great lecturers. Where it could improve is certainly the pricing on campus, it is extortionate around the catering facilities other than the union pub. Furthermore, parking can be a pain.

The campus is beautiful but a bit complicated. We were sometimes late for class as we had to run from one end of the campus to the other. The facilities can be a bit annoying, it is hard to find everything you need in the chemistry labs.

MEng Mechanical Engineering - very approachable lecturers and excellent course. A lot of practical elements and the opportunity to study different disciplines. The hands on experience invaluable for job interviews, and Edinburgh a fantastic city.

It's not always the most modern but it's a good campus. The new learning commons facilities are great places to study and the library is being rennovated.

The Heriot-watt campus is full of nature and is honestly stunning to walk around, as well as being really easy to navigate! Accommodation on campus is modern and clean with plenty of en suite options. I found there to be a great atmosphere on campus, everyone is always friendly and facilities like Oriam and the student union make campus a more interesting place to be!

My university is a campus style university just outside of the city centre. I never imagined myself going to this style of uni but I actually love it. The grounds are really nice and peaceful. When you live on campus there is a really nice atmosphere amongst the students. The student union is really small and I wouldn’t recommend it for nights out but there are events if that interests you eg. Eurovision and football games

Heriot Watt has an amazing campus situated in the capital city of Scotland. It doesn't have a big name but it has a down to earth, friendly feel. The size of the university means that most people find it easy to make friends whether in halls, on their course or in societies.

Heriot watt has offered me so much support and help throughout my time there. The facilities are amazing from the on sight gym, to the lecture halls even to the student union and the canteens. There is an amazing team who offer a range of services to students from disabilities to counselling to help with your course and classes.

The university is a wonderful place to be. Academically they offer the most innovative research projects and facilities headed by the most profficient lecturers in the continent. Socially, the staff are very welcoming and the atmosphere is always warm. People are so polite and approachable, making you feel really included. I would highly recommend this university to any young student

nice and quiet campus, good learning facilities. very international. interesting programme, however i hoped we would gain a deeper and more detailed understanding and more business insights.

The campus is on the outskirts of Edinburgh and is easy to get to from the city centre by bus. Large campus but the majority of places you’ll be are all central. Discounted cafe/restaurant does nice food. Mobile phone signal is an issue in some halls :(

Had such an amazing time here! The student union should be used by freshers when they get a chance. As soon as you move out of halls it's so far away no one ever wants to go, unless you've just finished your exams for the semester. They're getting through a lot of refurbishments at the moment, library should be amazing this time next year and sports societies are a great way to get to know literally everyone. Anyone i've met on a sports team knows everyone else on any other sports team. It's a great campus uni, you get lost, but it's all so contained. The careers service is so useful! So many events and emails with job opportunities. They have an online booking system so you can organise appointments without an awkward email exchange. Maths, my course, definitely put emphasis on careers services, with two courses, one in first year, one in third year being partially run by our careers advisor. Also, the Scotland rugby team train on campus, as do Hearts football club
