Rugby (Men's)

Rugby at dmu is evidently a well funded and well resourced society. For those that wish to play competitively, there’s the option of playing rugby for the 1st XV where it’s taken very seriously with strength and conditioning sessions, spirometer tests etc. But if you look for a more social side to rugby with a few games, there’s the lower teams with less emphasis on the ability. The social side to dmu rugby is immense, with regular social events that are well not for the ears of outsiders sometimes!

Really good bunch of lads who share a love of beers and all things rugby. Decent standard of rugby which are followed up by a good night every Wednesday
