DMU has a nice atmosphere and welcoming. This is the first time I have felt a little more comfortable and can come out of my shell a bit prior to previous colleges, high schools and primary schools I went to really affected my self esteem, confidence, concentration and somewhat my education. I am studying Biomedical Science a very intense course and has some enjoyable elements to it. I do find my course interesting and lecturers are approachable.

The university itself is beautiful with a real mix of modern and old buildings with each building having a different appearance on both the inside and out. The staff are very supportive with so many different extra curricular activities to participate in. Overall a really good university

De Montfort is a genuinely amazing university. The campus is beautiful and just a short walk from the quirky town centre. My course and it's facilities are the best I could find when looking for a university to attend. I definitely don't regret my choice and Leicester is like my home from home!

courses was good and a variety, but the facilities are limited and not much help from the lectures. Not many teams to join career services wasn't much help.

Campus is great and modern, although all that money could've been spent on getting quality lecturers. DMU Global is great!

DMU is well located in the city of Leicester. The staff are very approachable and professional. In the school of nursing and midwifery which I am enrolled in, the lecturers are eager to help and advise us student where they can. The university prides itself on listening to students and I believe this is a strong point of DMU and certainly an advantage DMU has over University of Leicester (UOL). Students have asked for sessions to be re-timetabled, courses to be re-structured and exams to be re-scheduled and often this happens. Simple things like the costs of a DBS application are all covered by the university. Whereas, my colleagues at UOL have to pay for this themselves. DMU have a superior employability service with mentoring schemes, placements in industry, Erasmus programmes and more. The negatives of DMU is the expense of the food on campus. It's over £5 for a meal in the food village and students can invariably Stafford this.

De Montfort is an amazing university. The Campus is small and easy to navigate around. Each lecture building is very unique and some still contain old historic monuments.

I enjoyed my time at De Montfort University, the three years went by really fast and I made some amazing friends! The lecturers were helpful (well most), and the careers team is always helpful! They also have a lot to offer eg the Dmu graduate champions which allows graduates to undertake a 6 week internship which is really useful!

De Montfort has amazing facilities and the #DMUglobal scheme is amazing, however it’s really hard to make friends on your course. Which makes it extremely hard when it comes to revision. A lot of the lecturers that I have come across are not helpful when you don’t understand something and sometimes make you feel inferior for not understanding a theory. I’m hoping that my experience in the coming year changes my view on DMU because I currently wouldn’t want someone I know to come to a uni that is so disconnected in a sense.

Beautiful, modern campus. Amazing facilities which are available all year round - couldn’t have asked for a better experience in the last 4 years!

De Montfort University is slowly rebuilding their campus into a high tech and beutiful place. My coursw and facilities available to aid my study are reflected in this modernisation, as advanced softwares and professional support is on offer wheneer needed. The careers service team for undergraduates was essential in gaining a placement in the civil service, and have provided me with consistent support throughout my degree

A large, modern campus with a great positive atmosphere which is always full of activity. Starting university, de Montfort were incredibly welcoming and made us feel really comfortable with fun events on every day. One service which has been very useful for me is DMUglobal which is the university’s trips page. DMUglobal provide every student with a bursary regardless of the trip which helped me go on to volunteer in a special needs orphanage in Peru! Without the help of DMUglobal this would not have been possible

In regards to Drama Studies, the course was very varied which helped me get to grips with things I'd never done before. Tutors had different specialities which meant there was always some one that you could go to for help. The studios are brilliant and had a full lighting board. Technicians were always on hand to help you with that side of your performance and were patient and offered their ideas if something wasn't going right. The booking system for rooms could be improved as sometimes it was very difficult to get a rehearsal space. All in all I enjoyed my time at De Montfort University and feel as though I have left prepared and learnt as much as I can

Tremendous support from the various teams and staff members. The university has really put thought into how to make your time with them a rounded experience. Chances t travel at reduced rates, meet industry professionals, win grants towards Start ups etc.

They promote support for funds and dyslexia support. But then it's a struggle to get it in place and sorted. The facilities themselves are lovely big lecture halls there are loads of library space and computers. The union cafe and restaurant area is lovely and a great place to chill in the mornings before lectures and during lunch time. The campus is spread out over a little bit but it's still easy to get to.
