The campus is gorgeous and the law facility is so helpful. They are ready to help always and the university is really caring for each and everyone's health and well being. I'm so happy to be a DMU student even though I'm in my first year. I'm gonna excited for the years I have to come.

The campus is very beautiful, nice layout and just massive overall with different fields of study. I study Biomedical Science and the course itself for me is very interesting but the lecturers themselves are mostly friendly and conducts their lectures very well. My overall experience of university has been fun and interesting and yes there has been a few struggles here and there as people tend to either study away from home or are international students so your lifestyle will have to adjust but it's worth it.

Library staff are very helpful. Potentially could do with a few more wacoms for design students in the library.

The facilities are really good as they are very close together. The campus is a good size and the food village has decent food. We also have a subway on site which is handy. There's loads of toilets located everywhere incase you need it when coming in and out of back to back lectures. The organisation is fab as they organise abroad trips to improve your career prospects! It's amazing. Only thing I find negative is that sometimes our lectures are scattered in different places which can be stressful!

This university is highly recommended. Especially if you have any disability problems. I have speech and language disabilities and they have been supporting me throughout my experience at university. Also the teachers are really nice in my course, very helpful towards my work which makes me feel more comfortable being in the university

I love going to Dmu they are nice and helpful and they provide you with all of the support that you need. The variety of course modules are very intersting and intreeging and they make you feel welcome by the largely spread diversity across the university with students and lecturers from all over the world. I would definetly recommend people to go to De Montfort University as it is an amazing experience.

The campus is beautifully designed and very modern, it includes the student union which is ideal for student who want to get involved in societies and want to mix with other groups of people. There are also great career services available to help you with your CV and other applications.

Brilliant new facilities to work in and spacious to do my work as I am a design student space is crucial. The course leaders are great and have had plenty experience so give good advise on work and on my future career. The price of food in the canteen is exspensive and comes in small portions.

After starting university in September 2018, De Montfort university has been interesting! Due to a 'new system' disorganisation caused chaos this year, with some students not having their timetable sorted out until week 5 (that I know of). However, despite this, so far DMU have given me amazing support and the course I am studying has met my expectations. I don't have a module handbook for one of my modules, which is annoying, but I have for the other 3. The campus is incredible, with facilities beyond expectations. The lecture halls are large and there's always a seat available. Socially, there are lots of clubs and societies to Join. The university gives outstanding support in terms of opportunities to develop yourself ready for employability, such as the DMU global trips and career advice activities.

Great lecturers, camous is spacious but everything is still close. Lectures are enjoyable and it has a lot of lovely people.

The grounds are lovely and I believe this is a great uni for the arts especially. I do however find that for courses such as nursing the organisation, the content and structure is all lacking. There is very little support, some personal tutors are not nurses and purposefully ignore emails. Accommodation is grotty and there is no where for nurses to live for the full 12 months they are at uni a year (not even the nursing accommodation facilities this).

I find mu university to be very welcoming and very well prepared for any kind of need we kight have! The teachers sre great, both in the lectures and seminars as well as when we need advice and feedback outside the taching hours! The facilitirs we are provided with are very well maintaines and we have exctly what we need to go provide the best work! The other student are very welcoming as well and the very helping in need of some advice!

The campus is modern and there are plenty of spaces available to do independent study - there's so much support available from the lecturers, and everything is really well structured. The placement team are so supportive too - so helpful when it comes to getting a placement!

Excellent university with all the facilities you could possibly need shops on campus which is good and lots of areas for students to go to just do work. Lots of opportunities available to enhance university life.

The newly refurbished campus buildings, really brightens it up and gives a welcoming vibe. All the different options for food means that there is a choice for everyone.

It's hard to say... I think that there were many great opportunities in terms of employability and I enjoyed some of the modules. I cannot compare to other universities so it's hard to say whether it was better, worse, good, bad? Mental health is pretty neglected at all unis, as far as I've seen the research, so maybe it's not DMU that recommends apps for people who lost a will to move on with their life. 2nd year, comparing to 1st is a shock. Like... buckle up bucko, because it's going to be a wild ride. However, it seems that university is listening to most of it and tries to change things people are unhappy about. So, I personally didn't enjoy my time at university, but I do think that DMU is a good option if you want to enhance your employability, travel the world for cheap (DMU Global is great) and all other elements depend on your personality and so many things. It's impossible to generalise.

I am a third year architecture student at Leicester school of architecture in DMU. There are many advantages and disadvantages of this university. 1. The facilities are amazing, especially for an art student, the workshops are three years old and most of the time all the materials are free or really cheap. Including laser cutting and 3D printing. 2. The campus is very welcoming, clean and everything is closed by 3. The location of the university is amazing, is next to the city centre (10 mins walk). As well as the city, is big enough in order to have everything but small enough in order to be friendly. 4. The staff is most of the times amazing, from library security to personal tutors. Every person of the staff is fighting so you can have the best experience and knowledge. 5. Your opinion matters, when you claim something is wrong, most likely it changes. For example in my first year printing was costly, now a A4 size is £0.01. 6. The most important! The traveling the university provides. I've been to Abu Dhabi-Dubai, Hong Kong, Berlin and I'll be in New York in less than a month! I'm so grateful for these opportunities that this uni gave me. Moreover, there are disadvantages too. 1. It's a pretty unorganised university but every year they become better. 2. Only the library is open 24/7 In conclusion, the benefits are more and if I have to choose again this university I will do it!
