Great facility, great uni however the London base is quite quiet and unorganised. The careers service is very good! And also the part time students should have more advantage but they don’t seem too, too focused on the full timers.

The campus is excellent with all buildings being close to one another and there being excellent facilities in the engineering building. Some lecturers are excellent while others are rather poor and simply talk at the students rather than talking to them. Student support is adequate but is not a standout feature by any stretch of the imagination. Overall I have had a good experience with this university however there are some flaws that must be dealt with.

I love my course. But all the societies I would join my uni don't have them. Belly dancing and a few others hence why I never joined one.

the facilities of the university are very good and provide a very good learning environment, however, as the campus is in the city centre, the campus can get very busy at times and buildings are scattered across the city

The campus is not quite a campus and that made me quite sad, the buildings are nice but some are in need of a modernization, the library is overcrowded and too small for the entire university and all its faculties

The course has been dissapointing so far. The rooms that we have had available to study in have not been big enough to accommodate our group so we have often been leaning on our knees taking notes for up to 3 hours at at time. They are investing in new accommodation, but not the university faculties it seems. The organisation of the modules and timetable has also been frustrating and very hot and miss. The knowledge of the lecturers is excellent and they seem willing to help but feel they have their hands tied by the university.

Some staff are not very supportive if you have any issue however the university is supportive with helping you find a career and student services are helpful

Coventry uni is okay. Not bad at all but could improve a lot. The time table team is not the best and I had issues with it. However Im enjoying coventry

I like coventry university because it has a good location and the facilities for most of the specialties are great. However sometimes I think some of the modules taught aren't the most inspiring. For example having a whole module on writing a CV - I understand that it is important to learn how to create a good CV however that is what the careers department is for, not what modules are for. We get roughly 14 hours per week teaching time and I would rather learn about the chosen subject and if I desire to learn how to do a good CV to go to careers.

The campus is nice, we have a lot of buildings and most of them are either new or still in really good condition. The careers service is really nice, very well organised and very helpful, however I really don't think the same about the student union. Student union seems irrelevant here to be honest. My overall experience is pretty positive, however the criminology degree could drop some modules that are not useful at all.

Automotive design course had too many students and therefore individual tuition with tutors was limited. Facilities weren't large enough to hold certain classes, therefore overcrowding was common.

Coventry University is a good but not excellent university. I am currently studying MSC Event management. Before I came to Coventry I had much better opinion about the university but now as I'm almost finished I can see only bad things, lack of organisation, communication of the lecturers, poor advice etc. The facilities are great, especially the Lancaster library and Engineering building. Students have really everything what they need and more. My course is not planned well and I have a feeling that they are just trying it out on us.

Pros The books are free every year CGE is really good for funding trips Cons Lecturers do not give one to ones Buildings are dated Criminology does not have its own building

Generally it is a good university in every aspect. Although, this academic year (2017-2018), they messed up with most of the timetabling schedules together with marking processes. They need to hire more stuff and have a thorough orginization of whole faculty ( for Health and Life Sciences - at least ). Also, even the library is in a very good condition and modern, it is definitely not enough for the whole university.

3 stars because athough we do have amazing facilities such as the New science building, there are many things that I have come across throughout my three years in uni tht could require further improvement. The lecturers are good and bad. Some lecturers teach the required content and are not very helpful whilst some Are much more engaging and you could say, more passionate. The grading of assessments are totally dependable on who is marking as I averaged received coursework that have a sense of being unfairly marked especially when there is little feedback to justify the grade. third year has really opened my eyes to these issues.

The university campus is enjoyable but there's a lack of communication between lecturers and students.

Good uni, good social life and good area, some dodgy areas about the uni but then whereelse doesnt have these

Everything is quite decent apart from the teaching, the building very nice and the cleaners are always there keeping them clean, the walk from one building to another is quite a long walk and it is very spread out but having a big uni is also a good thing, the attendance isnt really an issue which is good as well.

The University has a lot of facilities, but focuses too much on the business part, increading the number of students constantly and not increasing the number of staff. When it comes to feedback on coursework, it is very bad, students get a generic feedback or none at all. The Student's Union has a lot to learn about marketing. The University should lend them some help, as the better the marketing of the uni gets, the poorer the one for CUSU gets. Students don't know who their representatives are and what they do. There are a lot of things that need to be reviewed and improved. Looking at the good side, the employability teams are really efficient and help a lot of students to get their wanted placements and graduate schemes. There are a lot of exclusive job oppoortunities for Cov Uni students. During the studies, the students get trips, laptops, art supplies, books, all dependant on their course. The Library has almost anything needed for courseworks and can bring new books at all times. Overall, Coventry University is a good University to be in.

University does not care for the well-being of its students. Numberous times lunch breaks have not been allocated in the time table: 9-5 with no lunch break is not acceptable. I have also been told to drop off the course after a 3 day absesnce due to anxiety.

My course became the most enjoyable in my final year as I began to actually study the modules I was looking forward to such as human rights, international criminal law and international public law. These modules have been led by great module leaders and lecturers who have been the most helpful tutors and very supportive. Other modules however have been more difficult and were not made easier due to the lecturers leading them and the lack of support given.
