Good university, timetable land overly excessive work load eaves students with no social time and affects their mental health. Any person doing two tests a week every week begins to suffer.

Let's speak about my course first. It's a very difficult course, very demanding course. In my first year, there was a very difficult module, in which the lecturer didn't provide lecture capture for. The students are paying £9,250 a year and we can't even get our lectures recorded for extra revision??? Of course, he did write down everything on the board in lectures, but the explanations were lost from time to time because I can't write as fast as some people, so lecture capturer in ALL lectures would be really helpful for every student. Secondly, I feel there's far too many class tests and courseworks in my course. It's difficult to manage my time and study efficiently when I have deadlines even from week 3. Thirdly, one of the only few great experiences I've had with the university is that one of my lecturers did really help me when I asked him questions via email. He taught a very difficult course and he helped me so much. And finally, the career service at my university is amazing and helped me completely change my CV and Cover Letter and apply for this work placement, and I was able to get a place.

The university itself was globally acknowledged and had a good learning environment. However, the social life was terrible. There weren’t that many options for clubs and society’s available and not many opportunities to get involved in.

The university Campus and facilities are ok, library is 24hrs although needs more computers if you aren’t able to bring your own in you will struggle to find a computer. Organization of university lectures and events is appalling and lecturers don’t take any criticisms on board. Marking is slow and often not up to standard. Has been a very stressful time for me

I was only here for an exchange semester but I'm shocked that this place was classified as a university. It's more like a community college level of education. The campus is small but it was centrally located in London which was convenient. The timetable system and attendance procedures were atrocious. The technology of the school is decades behind my house university. Lecture capture and crash summary booklets are mostly found in lower tier institutions and after taking 5 modules, I can see why the permanent students need so much help. I've honestly had more difficult assignments in primary school. The standards for coursework and presentations was lower than I could have imagined. I had a group project with 6 people that literally took us all 15 minutes to do in total, right before the class it was due and we got 80%. I can't believe that Cass is considered a good business school, it seems like it barely qualifies as an educational institution.

Staff are smart and well-versed in their respective fields but are rather unwilling to offer support especially to students lagging behind. As a result students either do very well or completely fail at passing. Got to look out for yourself in this university, it seems as if people are very competitive to the point of being unhealthy.

Organization is very poor, there is a clear divide between the schools. CASS and the law school have better funding, events etc compared to SASS. Despite multiple students complaining there seems to be very little change or even acknowledgement of the issues. Not challenging enough, very basic very teaching most lecturers read from the slides and don’t add any additional information. The slides themselves are very basic and more often than not very helpful or insightful.

There isn't really a community feel at this university like there seems to be at other universities. However the careers service is really good and so is the library.

The course itself and the teaching staff are for the most part, pretty good. But the main problems is within the organisation. We find out our timetable the day before a term starts. Classes are moved. Coursework is all crammed within a few days. It is hard to contact admin for help as they are always busy or off.
