Cardiff University

The campus facilities are steadily improving, however I do notice that the science subjects have far better buildings, classrooms and lecture theatres (I am a humanities student). Though our building has just got a new cafe, it would be nice to see some of our lecture theatres improved with more plug sockets.

Optometry facilities are fantastic. The SU is currently under refurbishment and is thus somewhat lacking. The sports facilities are relatively poor (the gym facilities are old fashioned)

Course excellent- interesting lots of teaching hours. However coursework is slow to be marked (2months). Student union is excellent & being developed. Lots of libraries including ASSL which is open 24hours always space & taking out books is easy. Campus really nice everything very close - clubs shops etc. Exerpience so far excellent

VK's VK's a lot of VK's. Cardiff is great though. Cheap city and anything you need is within walking distance. Great student city too.

The university is very academic and not great when it comes to preparation for world of work, but the facilities and staff are excellent, and the degree does teach you a lot of things if you're prepared to take advantage of extra curricular.

Great campus just minutes away from the city! The students union is amazing and has everything you need in it!

I am a master student in school of dentistry.. Its one of the best uni in cardiff in terms of its multi cultural and diverse environment. staff is very friendly here. It has best and telanted faculty .

My course is very interesting and the lecturing is high quality. I will gain a lot of skills and knowledge that will aid me in my future career.

Cardiff university is a very accommodating uni. The only downfall is their intense desire to progress often leads to the current students needs from being met. Though they eventually solve any problems, they take a lot of time to do so.

The campus is great and the location is close to other things such as public transport, bars and restaurants, libraries, student accommodation and much more

Overalll it's good but more support is needed for freshers to mingle and for mental health. Facilities and nightlife are very good, and it's a cheap city up live in

I'm studying law and it's very interesting but the amount of reading is a lot to handle. My room in talybont south is average, but nothing amazing. I haven't had any issues other than that it is cold. The student union is incredible for a good night out or space to study in the day.

I'm really enjoying it here so far. The teachers are helpful and the university itself has a great feel to it. Cardiff is a great city to live in aswell and I've met some really great people here so far. I'm really glad I chose Cardiff University.

Overall the university is very good, it has services, clubs and support groups for every kind of student who may be suffer from anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, PTSD, domestic violence and many more

Cardiff University school of medicine is very supportive with student learning. Being international student, communication can be an issue, however the school of medicine is very concern with our learning and offer help.

The campus at Cardiff is full of beautiful old buildings and is dispersed through the student area. Biomedical sciences is placed in the biosciences building, which has numerous labs and many resources students can use. The students unions turns into big student nights every Wednesday and Saturday, and in the day is a great place to go work with friends and get some food or just hang out. It also has useful shops on the bottom floor, including a post office, co-op and coffee shop. The careers service is full of friendly staff who want to help students get the most out of their degree in the future.

The facilities are brand new in the building for my course. There is state of the art technology and there are plentiful resources to use for research and assignments. The course is very interesting in terms of content. The students union is an excellent part of the university and encompasses a plethora of services for support during your time in university. So far, the organisation of my experience so far has been excellent.

The campus of the university is good and feels friendly. The students union has good facilities and holds lots of great events. The careers services are good and very helpful. They hold lots of events which allow you to talk to employers. Some lecturer halls are run down. The overall running of the university is good.

Overall, for my course (in the business school) facilities are really modern and excellent. In lecture theatres there is easy access to charging ports for laptops, however there isn't really access in rooms for tutorials, and some of the plugs in cafe's and similar areas do not work which is a shame. The course structure (Accounting and Finance) is excellent. The students union has good food facilities and a good range of shops, however the night life within the student union isn't the best, it's quite cramped.

At times the organisation can be lacking on my course, however it is evident that the course staff but in a lot of effort to help students.

The facilities for my course are wonderful. It's a brand new building with lots of state of the art technology suites for production. There are excellent industry links. Everything has been well organised.

The facilities provided by the university are overall very good. I believe that the student union goes a long way to ensure that there activities available for everyone, Clearly listing them on the website. The course itself is made better by the lecturers whom provide the content in such a way that the lecture is both informative and enjoyable. The students on my course are very friendly and this has helped me to settle in very well in Cardiff.

Good university with good facilities. Some buildings might need some refurbishment, but the teaching system is good. Good libraries as well. Good support as well for anything required.

The support from the Student Union is very accessible and useful, one of the best parts of the university. The campus is widespread throughout the city, but is easily to get around. Many libraries but hard to find a seat during exam period.
