This university is perfect for several courses, including mine (Food Science and Technology) because of the facilities and lecturers. However, as this is a small university, compared to the bigger uni's, the SU isn't given as much attention. Has got good links with industries around south Wales.

The university as a whole is good, the accommodation on campus was good where I was staying bus some halls were poor quality and some were far better it wasn’t a fair set up. My course has been good and the lectures are always willing to help. I haven’t had experience with the careers services or the student union but I believe from others having experienced these they are good. Finally the sports facilities are great, and training is fit well around lecture timings and other activities

I'm based at Llandaff campus and honestly I love it there. I visited a number universities before applying to any and I chose Cardiff Met because of the block I'm based in. Fairly new building looking quite fancy from the outside, but it's so raw and plain inside. It's not intimidating like other new builds, it honestly feel more like home than my halls which is amazing. I study Architectural Design and Technology and the course isn't the easiest. But my tutors are amazing, they truly always help me if I need it and never complain about doing so. I didn't expect university to be that good, I know for a fact from a friend that not all tutors are so willing to help and that's of course not the case with my subject. So, Cardiff Met- definitely the best uni for my subject, in my opinion. Cardiff is a student city as well, lots of places to go, not that expensive, always somewhere to go out to dance, amazing people as well. Cardiff bay is a lovely place to visit on a sunny day!

The course is quite enjoyable and the lecturers are very friendly and approachable. The facilities are good, although the food and drinks available on campus can be quite pricey. There is esentially no parking available for students which is a massive disadvantage to those of us who have to commute long distances to travel to university. Overall, it offers a good learning experience and we are taught by very good lecturers who made a name for themselves in their fields. It does lack a lot of facilities for students though, we don't currently have a microwave in case we wish to bring food from home.

I'm studying year 1 biomedical science at Cardiff Met. I love the uni, you get people from all around the world and thousands of different cultures. Beautiful and well built and structured buildings with all the required amenaties and equipment needed to teach the students. The only thing that I don't like is that there are days that have only 1 lecture at 9 am in the morning. They should try putting all the lectures properly and accordingly

Really good modern campus with top of the range sports facilities and elite level sports teams! The halls are good for the price you pay. The course I do is really good with really good practical and taught elements with really helpful lectures teaching on it.

Campus is very easy to navigate around and facilities can't be faulted. Tutors have all been friendly and helpful through my 2 and a bit years at the University and you really feel a part of a culture. If you're looking for university tuition with a personal touch in Cardiff, Cardiff Met is the place to be!

My first year at Cardiff Met.. Well let's say there were ups and there were downs. The city of Cardiff has so much to offer, leaving us with endless amounts of entertainment for everyday. Cardiff Metropolitan University in itself didn't live up to expectations in my first year, with there being an extremely high focus on the Sport students rather than the Education students, it seemed that the only people trying hard to help us gain an unforgettable experience were our course leaders. However, in my second year I have seen a big change. I have noticed a lot more effort put into the Education side of the university where all our students are being given amazing opportunities as well. Overall, Cardiff Met is an amazing University where you will never feel lost or alone and if you do always know that the staff are always willing to help.

I am studying primary education studies and I think it is a fantastic course with amazing course tutors. The campus is also good as it is not too big. The food and drinks in the campus however are quite expensive especially for students and paying parking to attend uni.

The University is really modern and I feel really comfortable. Sometime it is a little bit cold for me. The food is great. And you can refill your water bottle for free!

For a small university, Cardiff met has a huge presence in the south of Wales. I had a great 4 years at the university and would highly recommend it to anyone

Studying textiles the course for first year was very dissapointing and ran poorly. Second year is somewhat of an improvement with better technical demonstrators and facilities.

I have currently enrolled on a new masters course which started this September. The course content is great, the structure allows learning in multiple ways, theory, PBL followed by practical application. I feel this is ideal for a course which is setting up students for real life work in high performance and private practice. Compared to other courses and speaking with others experiences, this course is far better at postgraduate level.

This university is great at getting students involved in everything through societies and on the primaey education course, there is forest school, dancing and having a great time. The teachers are always there to help and the way they break down the modules is great. An amazing uni to be at

Cyncoed Campus has a feel-good family vibe that I and many others love!! The halss at this campus are nice and sporting facilities are excellent. The course has various options for you to chose from and you cover interesting topics throughout the years.

A building for the school of health sciences is needed, the other schools have a building each and the largest school needs their own space.

My particular campus is in llandaf, it is a wonderful friendly campus with all the facilities needed. I am a Podiatry student, on my final year, and being the only podiatric school on Wales, opportunities are truly endless. Careers service is also good, with people on hand to help you with CV to job application most days. We have. Great student Union that offer themed night on Wednesday and the weekend.
