Brunel University London

The university campus is great, everything is one location. The buildings don't always look very nice but the uni is try to improve that. There's loads of events going on all the time and you can often create your own. The library is huge with tons of seating plus rooms to book out for group projects. Amazing disability support. The medical centre on campus though has really bad service. They almost never can help you. The societies are brilliant as are all the food locations. However, the corner shop on campus is way over-priced. Seriously don't buy anything from there, they tried to charge me £3 for two bananas. We get several markets on campus throughout the week which are brilliant and amazing quality for value. Plus much cheaper. The staff are brilliant and will do anything they can to support you, just as soon as they have seen your emails. The only other thing I can think off is that they don't advertise really well, but they're working to improve that. Accommodation is fab though.

The campus is nice, fairly easy to find your way around and well maintained. There’s a grocery market outside every Tuesday which is nice. Facilities are quite good, especially sporting facilities. My course is enjoyable but slightly disorganised, some coursework marking has been very late. Careers services are helpful! Nightlife is decent. Overall a good experience, I’m glad I chose Brunel.

It's all great to be fair. The courses are good and the night life is amazing but the facilities are quite simple and food on campus is great but not good for vegiterians.

Brunel university is a great university. It is a small campus meaning that no mode of transport is needed to walk from one end of the uni to the other. The lecture centre is situation in the centre of campus making it easily accessible from anywhere on campus. The student support team is good for helping in any situation.

Campus is its own exclusive thing, everything is spaced out yet close by. There's lots on campus like shops, clubs and bars, food places, a bank, and accommodation is close by. Always stuff to do with sports clubs, societies, nightlife and so on.

The facilities on campus are very good. There are a number of places to socialise and have a break from your studies. The university grows and develops every year surprisingly well supporting very well student’s studies and needs. Isambard Complex accommodation is one of the best to name home.

The campus at Brunel is great, with a range of food outlets, a gym, a bank and weekly markets. However a negative aspect is that these are on the pricey side. The lecture theaters have recording facilities which is very useful when doing revision. My course has a great range of lecturers who are passionate in what they teach and always available for help. The assessment is spilt between a midterm and final exam which takes off a bit of pressure and the lecturers prepare you for these. The careers service is excellent and the range of support they provide is so wide! Through their support I have started third year with a job offer in hand! :) The negatives of university is that the timetabling can be very spread out which is difficult for me as I commute. We don’t receive any printing credit, which is annoying. Also there’s very limited amount of the recommended module text books, which means you have to spend £40, £50 buying each textbook.

It affords so many opportunists outside of your studies; careers and placement support, industry professional guest speakers, academic skills classes. Also being a campus university you feel apart of a community whether it be sports, a society or the Student Union
