The university campus is nice. The new modern building allows the opportunity to have more space to work and relax. The experience I have had with the careers service has been pleasant, this involved different organisations coming in to speak to students about current and future opportunities, which was helpful and informing.

The university as overall is on a good track to be a good university. The building are good but they still have some work to do. It should have a specific building for the student union and a for a campus shop which at this current moment they are part of the curzon building. The food at the canteen is overpriced and it does not really offer a variety of options especially for people who are vegetarian. The course that I am in Accounting and Finance is structured quite well as the lessons are delivered by people who have been or are still in the industry. It's very practical and the staff is very supportive to students. The faculty careers services has been a major reason why I have managed to secure a Placement. They have been supportive and always provides constructive feedback when it comes to things such as CV Cover letter.

Birmingham City University is a good uni for me. I took graphic communication, which was supported well, as there is a print room which is really good and numerous digital printers which is helpful. The normal printers dotted around site can be quite annoying as sometimes they go down which is frustrating if you need something there and then, but they do get fixed reasonaly quickly. The atmosphere is nice, and the lecturers are kind and understanding. Overall, it is a really nice place to be.

The course i study is pretty demanding,it is diagnostic radiography and it is exhausting as you have rota'd Placement every year in which your expect to do competencies as well as do your uni work which can be a hard balance to achieve! ,the campus itself has the facilities I require which is beneficial and the careers service and student union I haven't engaged with in my time at uni.

The campus is really well located; near the town centre. It's easily accessible via bus or train, bus stops outside or a few minutes walk away. Two train stations ten minutes away. Ideal for people who commute. The facilities are really good, they cater for numerous amount of people and courses. My course which is graphic communication is great, tutors are helpful. Lectures are informative. Computers and quiet work zones in each building and on every floor. Student union is something I haven't taken a proper look at but they are there as I receive emails all the time about upcoming events and information about the university. There is also several accommodation buildings near by for people who want to live away from home and don't want the hassle of commuting.

The university have amazing facilities and have always been helpful in providing support in any areas that I have needed it. The teaching is at a good standard some improvements could be made but overall the university has supported me well.

Some really stuck up professors that treat you really poorly and insult you to your face if they thinn you don't know much about the content before it's even taught to you. Nice campus and new buildings with decent facilities tho. BCU gets so much money I'm convinced it's s front for something.

The building is beautiful, it's really spacious and has a lot of room for socialising as well as studying. However, programs might be confusing to understand sometimes such as assignments, etc. As well as this, teaching could also be a little better, some teachers can be quite plain or seminars can sometimes feel like lectures because of how dull they can be as well as some teachers not being able to communicate or explain properly. However, the course (law) is still very interesting, even though it can be hard at times and a lot on your plate, there is still support and it's not impossible ! Teachers and lecturers, can be very supportive and helpful when you individually ask them for more help or to explain something better, but you need to do it for yourself and get information for yourself! Things won't just come your way

Quality uni. Perfect for what I want to do in life. Lots of options to expand and broaden what I do, whilst also giving plenty chances for future work! The facilities are top class and really are amazing.

Lovely building (city south) but perhaps not quite big enough for everyone. The HELS team are all really nice and helpful. Very good student feedback forums.

The city centre campus is really modern and functional. The lecturers are all really helpful and willing to go above and beyond what is needed to help. The canteen food is a bit expensive but its nice. The accomodation is problematic at times but looks nice and modern.

The university itself is amazing always providing way to motivate and support students howeve my campus was left out due to it being the old run down campus which was due to be knocked down so we got left out of it all never really got any rewards for the effort we was putting in compared to the main campus

The SU is brilliant tbh, but there's a revolving door of visiting lecturers which I wish would stay consistent for the BLSS dept. They're all still really good though, the careers services are easy access and there's good facilities and a stonkin good student pub

Course - My course was the perfect choice for me- it enabled me to meet like minded people, interested in the same thing as me. The delivery of the course was great- every lecturer I had did a great job and delivered each and every module in a way that enabled us to take in a lot of information in an exciting and fresh way. Campus- The campus my course was based on was an old campus that has since shut. It was fine and enabled me to get my degree, however, I wish we could have had a more upto date, less far out campus to attend lectures on. The facilities- The facilities were great for what they were. We had a spacious library with plenty of bookable and non-bookable spaces to work on floors that were sociable and the non-speaking floors. The lecturer theatres and seminar rooms were always spacious and allowed us ample space to do what we needed to do. Our canteen was fab- equipped with a Costa that made those early 9AM’s a little easier.

My experience being at BCU is an overall 8/10. I had a great time and met some amazing friends while I studying there. The support from my course was not incredible, although I didn’t really go searching for it. This may say a thing or too about how available the resources were to me. The staff thoughout my course were great, always lending a helping hand in lectures and when it came to completing coursework.

Good support on course, city centre location. Lacking in societies and social activities, a very 'separate feeling' university. However I love my course and it opened doors for a placement year for me.

Fantastic university great support system lecturers always available and willing to help. The location is good near all shops which is convienent for all students if they do not wish to stay and eat in the university canteen.

The campus and accommodation on site is gorgeous and many members of staff are very welcoming and easy going, However the security in the accommodation University locks are extremely rude, disrespectful and not helpful at all.

The overall experience at this university was good. Especially if you live out as the university halls are close to the city centers nightlife. If your someone who likes the practical side to your specific degree discipline this is the uni for you. As lectures draw a lot from their personal experiences in the industry.

Great facilities the campus has. Lecturers are supportive and teaching methods are great. There are also activities which are carried oit by the university for students. Aswell as trips being organised.

Excellent experience at BCU. The buildings are really modern and they seem to be ever building more, with good access to resources eg 24hr library that has plenty of computers or laptops to take away. The whole campus has now pretty much moved to the city centre so housing is the only downside - most people tend to stay in flats in their 2nd and 3rd year as there aren't many student houses about. Sports facilities are good, however are located in Perry Barr where the old campus is which makes them a pain to get to. However the uni have an agreement with Aston Uni (across the road from the new site) that we can use their facilities for a Concessionary price which helps.

good facilities and student union. unfortunately my course was not located in central campus so felt isolated from the rest of the university and clubs.
