Great and beautiful campus, it has all that is needed for a good studying performance, staff always willing to solve any doubt you may have. Students Union is super strong.

The university is very central so ideal if you are commuting as it is only a short walk from the grand central train station or some bus routes. The building is very modern and secure and requires id passes to enter the building. The teachers were very helpful and gave regular support for assignments and help for career choices. They provided us with good experiences and relevant information that was needed out in industry, making us prepared. I am unsure on all the facilities that the university had to offer however the library was full of up to date books and plenty of resources to complete assignments. There was also plenty of additional study areas to complete assignments. The university also offered free Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint etc to all students throughout their 3 years at university.

Campus is very nice and new. University itself is trying harder to be better. But not much investment into the students tbh more thought into building and aesthetics

The university is a wonder place to study in. The facilities are amazing and so easy to access rather than having different rooms scattered all over the place. The specialist studios for editing, photography and filming are some of the best I’ve ever seen. The staff are friendly and helpful and the uni cafe always has great food on offer.

Really great facilities. Somehow this place gets tons of money and business links which means we get all new kit. Staff are very friendly and accommodating in my experience, tends to have smaller class sizes (think more secondary school, less giant lecture halls in movies)

The university has great facilities and a lot of space. The library has a good variety of books and is open 24 hours which is great!

Amazing facilities in city centre (especially for creative subjects like art and media) although student union could do with more work and expansion, friendly atmosphere throughout the campus

City centre campus is super modern and the facilities are amazing. There's a lot of services for students ranging from careers advice and mock interviews to mental health support. There can sometimes be a lack of communication between the uni and it's students when it comes to certain deadlines but on a whole it doesn't cause too much of an issue.

The campus is constantly developing and there is more space being added each year to accomodate the students. The organisation of my course (BA English Literature) has been impeccable with set deadlines that we are aware of from the beginning of the semester and therefore there are no surprises and we are able to be prepared. Lecturers are friendly and helpful and always available to provide feedback on anything you ask them for. I have truly enjoyed my time on this course and at this university and I will miss it.

Good facilities but the equipment provided for students isn't exactly up to scratch cos people keep stealing stuff. Opening hours for late work are perfect though and most people are quite nice.

I was nervous about uni, but my tutors and all other students made me feel at home, it’s a fantastic place and fantastic course!

The curzon, millenium point and park side campuses are really well furnished with a great range of facilities. Staff are all very nice and helpful, nothing is ever too much to ask for. The building layout is organised and easy to understand which makes finding lecture rooms much easier. A lot of the lecturers are good at making the content of lectures more interesting and seem to have a lot of knowledge on the subject, however there are some that will just read off the PowerPoint slides in front of them without further explanation or info. This is annoying at times because it feels like you could of just done it yourself at home.

The campus is amazing, the school of law has brand new buildings making it really modern and spacious. My course is well structured and is based on coursework which works well for me. Careers services are great and I’ve had a lot of help with my cv.

Campus and halls are close to each other making it easy to get in. Near city centre so not far to shops and restaurants. Had all the equipment needed for my course.

Birmingham university offers lots of opportunities to students to meet me people and the individual buildings cater to each specific course very well, on particular the fine art course which is based at Margaret Street.

Working in Birmingham Conservatoire studying my acting. But the facilities in an around millennium point are very well respected and up todate.

Campus has been well signposted, the rooms are adequate. The library is good but online services could be made more accessible and user-friendly such as it can be difficult to search for titles you want to read online. I have enjoyed my course so far. The accommodation could have been better, the rooms were not very clean when I moved in and we had problems with leaks.”

The course seems quite unorganized but the support from staff is still there, the university itself has many buildings which have good facilities!

I find my course is sometimes lacking in organisational and communication skills. The Students union is great though, lots of opportunities.

Staff are helpful. Facilities are amazing and getting even better. Sometimes feedback isn't given on time

The campus is very modern with high end facilities. As a member of the sound engineering and production course I benefit massively from having brand new, state of the art recording studios available to book at any time. The uni also provides us with many work opportunities such as running the sound for the in house Jazz club, giving students great opportunity to get hands on experience in a professional environement.
