Aston University

Aston university is literally the best. It’s a small university therefore it feels like a massive family. Living on campus was the best decision ever because you get to know so many people. The campus is great, there’s a gym with a swimming pool, some local shops and the actual flats. I really enjoyed my time there and I would really recommend it.

The campus is modern however students often only use the one main building in their course time. The on site facilities such as the eye hospital etc are impressive. Accommodation is modern however the Lakeside accommodation needs updating. Careers is a very strong department integrated well into the curriculum. Student union is small and outdated however a new Union is in the process of being built, however I won't get to see this by the time my course ends :(

The university is amazing! People are friendly, lecturers are helpful and courses are flexible. It is gives students a homely feeling of belonging. The campus has great facilities in the classes as well as a large 3-storey library. There is great food places nearby such as Caspian, Peppes all within one mile of the university and there is an in campus Tesco express, Costa, wok and go and a Greggs.

University has been an amazing experience. The opportunity to meet thousands of new faces and interact with people all over the world has opened my eyes and given me so many friends and best of all a family! Ontop of that being able to study what I love, and have a passion for, where the work is something I want to learn rather than what I have to learn. I literally never want to leave this environment, it's comfort, it's my second home.

Great university, big campus and very sociable environment. The univesity has a great variety of courses and all have great teachers.

Overall 10/10 university. Truly a pleasure to attend at this university. So many activities to do from attending societies to going to the gym. Societies all go on regular trips and promote socialising and all gym classes are carried out by professional coaches. Even the active societies and classes are carried out to a great standard.

Campus is so cool. The main building and library are right next door so I can just do my work right after lectures. There are shops literally 30 seconds away so if I want a quick snack I can go and get one.

Great university with fantastic facilities suitable for everyone. Teaching is brilliant and really helpful which helps when it comes to coursework. The out of class experiences such as societies and clubs are also really enjoyable.

I have been a student at Aston University for five years running now. After completing my undergraduate degree, I decided to pursue at Masters, again at Aston. During my time here, I have received an ample amount of support in regards to work-like balance, career advice and CV advice as well as feeling supported with my studies. Within the languages department there is a sense of family and it was so easy to get along well with lecturers or tutors. I received regular, personal and useful feedback which allowed me to progress further. My lecturers were also very flexible and they were always open to answer my queries (despite what time it might have been). I would like to thank Aston for facilitating my success.

The new state of the art Student Union currently being built looks amazing and will offer a great space for all to enjoy. The university is small but has a very warm atmosphere.

I've very much enjoyed my time at university. The campus is located next to Birmingham city centre and short walk from numerous accommodation buildings. I've enjoyed studying chemical engineering as it can be very technical and hands on. Astons career services are tremendous, helping me secure placement at a top automotive company and I hope to return in the near future

Where can I start! If you want the full round experience of uni life Aston is the place to go! I couldn't recommend any better place to go for independence and night life. The student accommodation is very nice as well and shops r no less than 5 minutes away

Best uni ever. The members 9f staff are very polite and kind. I have managed to make a lot of friends whilst here than I have ever made before that.

Campus is right next to the city centre. Great atmosphere and location. Wide subject range covered on business courses. Lecturer and tutor support available. Careers help availible. New union being built- continuous improvement being made to the building.

The campus is really nice. It's not hard to get around the campus. My course so far is really good and I am enjoying it. I don't know too much about the student union and I am well aware that career services are very good here at this university.

A fantastic environment for socialising being in the centre of Birmingham amazing state of the art facilities and a great place to learn

I've found my course to be intellectually challenging with the staff members to be helpful, clear and compelling. I've found the support given by the university to be very helpful in recent years, especially with my mental health. The student union has been a useful part of my university experience, as they've helped me find societies where I have made friends for life. The library has been brilliant over the last few years, a great place to study in silence or to use the pcs.
