Anglia Ruskin is one of the largest university in East Anglia. The campus was great, huge and you might be lost when you first arrive. There is an app for students to download which include canvas and a map of the university. Well, for me the directory for the map is pretty useless as it does not indicates where am I. The facilities is satisfactory for a business student(me). The student union is doing a good job for example when we first arrive the member of the student union will show us around the campus and tell us about it.

ARU is good with studies, at least for me. I graduated in 2016 from the Law Faculty and it has been an amazing experience. We had to do moots, work experience and the employment services were quite good. The lecture theatres are amazing! Also the social events and freshers fair are the best! There are a lot of international students which allowed me to make friends with a lot of students from different backgrounds which was also great!

Decent uni. The lecturers I have had have been good. Facilities are all fine and new ones very modern and nice. Halls of recidence could use a little work and the student housing situation needs to improve.

The university is good for students who struggle with their averages for their chosen course. They are helpful and the facilities are good.

The campus at Anglia ruskin has a very relaxed feel to it, which makes university feel less intimidating for the first years! The facilities are very good, especially the library(and the new medicine building is very impressive) and lecturers are very helpful. My course (medical science) has even just been accredited!

Great location for a university as it's just outside of central London. The university itself is good including the new medical school which has recently been opened. I'm currently studying medical science and I think the layout and the way the lectures are taught are very good and easy to understand. Overall, I'm glad I came to this university.

Anglia Ruskin is a friendly and homely place. Very nice to settle in to especially if you're a student who's brand new to the area and not used to living in such a busy place. All the ambassadors are extremely helpful and kind and made me settle in right away. Many of my class rooms are easy to locate and campus is not too far from my chosen accommodation so I don't have to always panic and rush about to get to lecture on time. However one class is off campus and usually takes a bit longer to get to, but this isn't too much of an issue as it's a very good and interactive lesson. The uni itself has lots to offer, from lots of sports clubs to many societies, there's nothing you can't do. Plus lecturers are always on hand to ask questions to regarding your work or module assignments. I've never felt lost or worried since starting here which was such a relief, considering I was so nervous about coming to university. The library is amazing and the services it has to offer are top notch. There's loads of books to read related to my course and so many printing/computer facilities available. Also the online library service is a huge help! As I can do a lot of work from my halls of residence. The cafe at uni is very good and reasonably priced with lots of good food, especially the fry up! I've loved every second of being here so far and I'm excited to see what the next 3 years bring.

I think that the campus facilities have drastically improved since I started uni. For example the new science building and lab facilities is a marked improvement on using the temporary optometry building for lectures. I also think the careers services is also an asset to the uni, I find the staff there very friendly and helpful. They come into our lectures for talks on support after uni and are the reason I undertook a placement year at SeaLife London Aquarium. I've had many meetings with Kim Warner to help me with job applications and she has always been adamant that she will remain helping me post uni. I have found my course to be both engaging and informative and am able to learn I wider range of topics. The lectures are very enthusiastic about their subject and really try to help you succeed.

So far, the university is satisfactory and I have no major complaints however there are many things that could be improved on, from the quality of the lecture PowerPoints to the fact you have to pay for printing

Very good education system. The lecturers are very motivated to teach us and provide many examples from their careers. The employability scheme is very useful but does not provide enough variety of positions appropriate for the courses. The campus is very good and its location is excellent.

I studied Crime and Investigative Studies. Really enjoyed the course and the opportunities I was given to work on my dissertation. However, some of the modules needed a bit more preparation in advance for them to run a bit more smoothly.

Anglia Ruskin has a bad reputation. This is probably due to its relatively short time as a university and the fact that it shares a city with one of the oldest. Despite this they are making large strides in improving both their teaching and their campus.

Such a brilliant University. All the lecturers are so helpful and informative. The location of uni is so great. It has multiple food places opposite and is a five minute walk to the grafton centre. They offer really great services such as councilling and employment support.

Perfect location as it’s close enough to town for convenient shopping and lunch between lectures. Could use a car park as many students commute! Lovely staff and great students with plenty of extra curricular activities.

This is a great university with excellent support services. There's a wide range of societies and sports clubs and plenty of fun (often free!) events put on by the student union.

I am based across the Cambridge campus in the healthcare and science faculties. The campuses are modern and have great facilities. I also have opportunities to access lectures and facilities at the other campuses at Chelmsford and Peterborough. One issue I’ve encountered is not being informed of classroom changes and it taking 15-20 minutes to get to then there’s buildings.
