I attend Anglia Ruskin University. I studied criminology and socialogly. I thought it was okay I didn’t think there was much involvement from the uni to make friends. I believe the criminology team were great in supporting me. However, the sociology team didn’t really help nor provide me with the support I needed.

Anglia Ruskin is a fairly good university, I enjoy the campus and my lectures. However I do feel as though they lack events and unions for students to join. I also was not impressed by the careers advice that I was given, I felt it was very vague and did not answer any of my questions.

The university is overall pretty okay. The campus is spacious and constantly modernising, with new buildings popping up. Although, the library and whole helmore building need a lot of love, left behind on the refurb list.. looking old and not at all pleasant to study in. The library staff are amazing though. My course is pretty interesting but yearly it fails in delivery, with undedicated or just too busy lecturers, which is very discouraging, despite improving online systems and many student evaluations. The cafeteria food is just not appealing - at all. Again, despite opinion panels nothing really changed and the crap food fills the uni halls with a bad smell all through afternoon. Similarly, the only manually served coffee spot has staff continuously serve burnt soy milk. The campus could really lose some of the vending machines providing very unhealthy products - you don't need that many. I don't know a lot about the student union, you mostly hear from them around election time and other surveys. Lastly, despite lecturers stubbornly trying to tick a box by forcefully organising group work seminars where it is unnecessary and gets in the way, they could really stop it and listen when the students aren't performing their best because of a very uncomfortable setup.

I love the university, feel as if there could be some improvements, for example some of the events that they put on could be a little bit better.

The University experience as a whole was amazing and would recommend it to everyone. However Anglia Ruskin could have improved in a couple areas such as the students union being organised poorly especially after my first year where there were little to no events or when there were events they had a small turnout due to poor organisation. The student unions at many other universities were organised much better as they should be as I believe they are a massive part of the university experience. As I said overall I really enjoyed my experience from living in halls and living in Chelmsford but feel like the main let down was the students union and organising events for us students.

Facilities limited, great overall experience, my course was enjoyable and had good resources. Beautiful city location with great nightlife.

Good campus, not enough staff around to meet the needs of the students. Support tutors give could be better, smaller class sizes made this easier however tutors would go to certain students over others.

The uni as a whole is good, the course I do is interesting and I've met a number of like minded people and made many friends through it. They also have a great approach to mental health and have qualified counsellors and de-stress days. However, due to ill health, I've missed quite a lot and may have to retake the year because I haven't really been able to get responses from tutors for meetings to discuss the situation. Overall though, I would recommend coming here.

My university is pretty good. It could be better teacher wise. I feel like the lefturers only read notes off the slides , so majority of the time I don’t really attend due to that - I can really just do it at home. There never seems to be computers when deadlines are approaching, how am I meant to complete my work if there isn’t really any computers , I just automatically lose motivation. The course is decent , but I also feel like practicals would make it more enjoyable , as I feel like I’m not learning much.

Anglia Ruskin Peterborough. Small campus but facilities are ok. Sometimes we come in to lectures and there are no lecturers. Very disorganised. Had 3 tutors within year 1. Careers fairs keep getting cancelled

Anglia Ruskin is a great opportunity for growing professionally, academically, intellectually and in maturity. Although, in some of the courses it offers it still has a lot to work on, it tries to help the students progress in whatever way it can. The facilities are quite modern and very useful (in practicality) and the medium is very diverse, having students from all over the world, and in this way experiencing new cultures and traditions. Speaking of cultural diversity, the student campus is lively and friendships are made everywhere quite easy, because people are meeting in each others' flat, having dinner together or just hanging around. The sports life is intense as well, due to a range of sports you can choose from and there are tournaments and everyone is welcome.

I study at UCH and I have been astounded by the unorganised way to which they work. Our timetable is always changing, work is misplaced, and tutors cancel lectures.

My course is amazing rest of the uni is poor in terms of facilities however a new science block has been built which is amazing. However some lecturer's have been extremely poor in my final year.

I have attened anglia ruskin university in chelmsford for 3 years as a student nurse. The course is engaging and full of leanring opportunities. But u need to be able to have self directed learning to reallt succeed.

Good but can be better. Faculties are understrain and sometimes the atmosphere is not the best. Aswell need more cheaper student Accomodation. In addition there needs to be more funding for societies for minorities

Anglia Ruskin University (Chelmsford) is good to say the least. The campus itself is always clean and striving for better with a new medical centre and SU being built. The SU is always a laugh and again clean. Throughout the course we are often in contact with careers advisors and they set up careers fairs and opportunities to allow us the chance to earn some extra cash now and in the long run that is suited to our specific field.

Very good university aesthetically. Have a nice range of courses and people doing them. Just not so great with the organisation.

Uni has been a great experience I believe the week with course lessons could include more and I believe an extra year should be added just for dissertations.

I have found my University to be unorganised. Staff members can go days without replying to emails which is very frustrating when in final year. I don’t know who to approach when I need help. They do however have a fantastic library facility which helps when studying.
