The room is too small, there is no microwave in the kitchen, the carpet gets dirty wayy to easily, water puddles up in the washroom, the mattress is the worst mattress in the world, the blinds look bad

I like the location of my room as it is very convenient to get to university. I have also settled in well as I have made friends from my flat

The location was good only 3 minty walk to the lecture centre the bus stop was located right outside the building and the rooms were spacious and unsuite.

The room was nice very spacious and on suite however it did get noisy after certain hours and my radiator did not work for the whole year. The beds are really small it says single bed but seems smaller than that

The problem with Brunel Halls is that half of them are really nice and modern, such as Bishop, but some other need a change as soon as possible. My experience in the Halls is worst every second I'm here. The main problem I faced was with the laundry, that for almost 7 months has not been working properly, I have already called requesting a refund many times and nothing happens. Secondly, all the freshers were put together on the same hall, which is the definition of immature children making a mess every single night, playing with the fire alarm, covering smoke detectors and damaging other's property. Thirdly, absolutely everyone is accepted in halls on the first year, and now my flat has 0 cleaning standards even thought I had complained many times to the accommodation office and nothing has been done about it. People are even stealing things and nothing is done. Furthermore, I've had various problems inside the room like not having light in the bathroom for almost a week, no hot water, heaters not working and I'm currently having problems with the shower, which I complained about it 5 days ago, and nothing has been done. I'm not saying staying at halls is bad, it depends on how lucky you are, which hall you get and your neighbours. In my experience, Fleming was horrible, Brunel hasn't done much to help and it's 30 pounds per week more expensive than the house I got for next year, which is literally 2 minutes away from Brunel and much nicer.

Location is decent as it’s in the middle of campus and not too far from the library, shops and reception. there’s a Lidl down the road and it’s probably the best hall location wise.

The halls themselves were good. Good location, the room was a decent size and the shower worked. The kitchen was barely cleaned both by the students and the cleaning staff. The location of the halls is perfect in the university, quiet but still in the middle. It is, however, very easy to enter the halls without a student card.

The hall is located perfectly on the campus as it's not too far from lectures but feels semi off campus. The kitchen is an adequate size but feels small for the amount of people and needs a good clean constantly due to the material the sides are made from. The bedrooms are a great size but were unclean on arrival.
