Swansea is a great city overall. The beach is 5 minutes away from the university campus. Nightlife is great, students come all the way from Bristol and Cardiff to enjoy their nightlife with friends in here. Last but not least, mumbles, a long street with amazing restaurants and beach view, only 10 minutes away by car

One of the best cities to live in, such a nice place, most areas are really nice! There's a lot of shops to go to and a lot of things to do, especially for value of money

Swansea is great if you want city life without the stress and bustle of bigger cities. It has loads to offer, a whole street of nightlife, gym's, cinema's, shopping and only a bus ride from the beautiful Gower Peninsula. As a city it has the friendliest people I've ever met, and is very reasonably priced! The only reason I have given it 4/5 stars is because it could do with some expansion as the town centre is relatively small for a city, however, only being an hour on the train from Cardiff it doesn't matter that much.

Many restaurants and bars to choose from, amazing access to public transport. Wind street will be the best night you'll have due to the amount of night clubs and bars.

There's plenty to do in Swansea. Day to day I'm never bored, and the night life is amazing. Student nights are really good, but the weekends are very expensive. The bus service is so reliable and a bus pass is a must! But there isn't much student housing available for second years.

For a night out as a student swansea can be great. Wind street, in town can feel like a miniature versions of a bar and club strip you experience in a holiday with your friends in a hot foreign country. I love how all the bars and clubs are so close together, it gives younthe choice to hop from one place to another depending on how you feel or who you meet. Also this means when you leave the bar youre met with a street is filled with all the other uni students dresses up in ridiculous costumes their society chose that week always see friends from other scoial circles. For the others who injoy a slightly quieter night theirs plethera of pubs just a short walk from you home whether it be in town or in uplands.

Such a beautiful city with lots to do, both city life plus the amazing beaches! Good shops and a great night life all on one street. Some lovely walks on the beach front and in the local parks and forests, the transport links are great and everything is very accessible !! Great views all across the city and great restaurants and pubs to eat at!! Great value for money with student night on Wednesdays on wind street with really cheap drinks and an overall fantastic night out, all on one street!!!

This is a great city, everything you need in one place. Wind street is a great night out too. The beach is one of the best things about Swansea, especially during the summer.

Really good place to go to uni as you are close to both the town (shops, restaurants, clubs) and the beach. Lovely in the summer as you can have BBQs on the beach and relax there between lectures.

My absolute favourite city in the UK. Amazing nightlife, architecture, history, food, locals, the list goes on. I always feel at home when I visit and there's never a shortage of things to do. The leisure centre is so much fun and the village hotel has an amazing spa if you're looking to unwind. The student community adds liveliness and excitement.

With a street full of clubs and bars the nights out are great. There is also so many restaurants from chains and unique ones. Same goes for shops. The beach provides a lot to do and walks to do. Plus there's the cinema, bowling, foot golf etc. Swansea is very good value for money to live here and have a good standard of living.

Swansea is a great place if you want to experience life on the coast as well as city life. The Gower is nearby and is accessible through buses from the centre. Wind Street is popular for night life, due to its array of pubs and clubs, and there's plenty of restaurants and cafes to suit all budgets. Overall, it's a really lovely city if you are torn with choosing between the countryside and the city.

Swansea uni Singleton campus is set in Singleton park and has stunning views of the beach. It is very close to Wind St which is an amazing night out and is bargain on student nights! It’s also located near the city centre which is packed full of popular high street shops.

The uni is right next to the beach, which is ideal on a warm, sunny day. The night clubs are mostly all located on one street, being only a 5-10 minute taxi ride or 30 minute walk from the uni/accommodation. Housing is a great price, rarely exceeding £380 a month. Everything you could possibly need is only a short walk away, and living costs are low. I love it here.

Nights out are great for a rather small city. Shopping centre is rather good too. My accomadation is cheap but on campus accomadation is over prices. Value for money is good and Swansea has many thing to do.

Swansea University is great as depending on the campus, you're either right in the center of town or just a short bus ride from the centre. There is a huge variety of shops, places to eat and the famous Wind Street for Student nights out. There are plenty of public transport links and a large train station. Swansea is quite a cheap place to live and go out as it is a small City so you don't get big city prices and don't get ripped of which is great. There's plenty of things to do in Swansea too. There are parks, the beach, mumbles..the home of Joe's oce cream! Bowling, cinemas, galleries and museums. There's something for everyone.

Swansea University is a great place to make friends make new experiences and memories. Whilst studying for your degree, the night life to let off some steam is also brilliant. Wind Street being the most popular choice on Wednesday student night, is a busy, fun and exciting night. I will miss Swansea when I graduate, as these 3 years are the best of my life.

Shopping and eating out can sometimes be limited but swansea is home to the most beautiful beaches in the U.K. and it’s close to the Brecon Beacons so you’ll never run out of things to do!

If attending, get a bus pass, if only for food shopping. The big Tesco in town is the cheapest, but is about a 30 minute walk from campus, carrying groceries is not good for that long. There are food stores closer, but they are more expensive. That being said, it is only about a 30 minute walk into town for shopping, and less than an hour walk into Mumbles, which makes for a lovely day trip.

The city is a very nice place to live with many sights and bars to go to. The restaurants are all quite good and the beaches all around are amazing to chill and stay at for ages and forget about every thing
