Really good location take less than 5 minutes to walk to my lectures which is great when you wake up late. Wish there would be a social room or sofas as there's no where to hang out. Lots of storage space in rooms and the bathroom is lush. Maybe a tad small if anything.

The location of it is ideal if you are attending lectures on Singleton campus however that’s the only positive thing about these halls. Everything else is pretty much gross or doesn’t work

Great location for first year because lectures are only a few minutes walk away, not many shops close by however

This is my first year living in the halls. The location of my hall is very convenient. I could walk to my lecture halls, computer lab, library, laundrette, shops and cafe etc in less than 10 minutes. There's a lot of societies and clubs from you to choose from, and there's also 'give-it-a-go' session and taster of societies and clubs for students to choose from. So that no one would be left out.

Very good location as it is close to lectures. All the facilities are good, except the windows let in a slight draft and the radiator often needs bleeding. Very social, lots of friendly people. My room is very big and spacious.

It's quite nice, kitchens are very small and there's clearly something wrong with the system as that keeps going off all the time.. It's nice enough though

The location is the best aspect, it’s very close to all the lecture theatres and social places like pubs and shops on campus.

Maintenance guys are incredible. Have the large room, no common area which is shit. But somehow it all works out okay. Would recommend

Location is stunning, has views of the sea and singleton Park. However, the walk to town is far and a bus is often the best way to get into town which can be costly. Facilities on campus are good, doctors and dentist available as well as places to eat. There is also a club and bar on campus which is really good for close social life. The rooms are pleasant and vary depending on building but all very liveable.

Social experience has been excellent but facilities somewhat lacking... often problems with heating, no hot water and broken showers.

Penmaen was a great place to live, met so many friends for life here! The building was also newly renovated, and most of us had ensuite bathrooms.

Such good halls. Running water, heat and even a bathroom. When the elevator is being slow as always i take the stairs(everyday!) i sound lazy...it’s because i am. Singleton campus is still better than student village, you better believe i’m thankful for that!

Rhosilli east- we have had a lot of problems (things breaking, no electricity etc) but they do solve it more or less straight away. Preseli reception are very helpful. Our cleaner does the job well and our bins are always emptied. Security are very helpful aswell.

Really good facilities, the room is massive, the en suite is great and it's not too far from the centre of town.

My review is of Penmaen residence on Singleton Campus. The location is perfect as it's accessible to buses to and from town, the train station and bus station as well as to the Bay Campus. Plus, each bed room has an ensuite and a 3/4 single bed. It's in a prime location on campus to wake up late 10 minutes before your lecture and still make it in time!! Perfect!

The location is good and very central. The rooms are okay but quite small. The kitchen is awful, there’s no window so it’s ridiculously hot all the time and there isn’t enough cupboard or fridge space for the 10 people sharing it. There is no communal area so it is hard to spend time with everyone together.
