An absolutely brilliant city. Everything you could ask for. Plenty of shopping, nightlife, restaurants, museums/art galleries, cinema, theatre - anything! All student halls are in walking distance from the city centre too.

Living in Sunderland is pretty chill. There is a lot to do in the neighbouring towns too. With access to the Metro and bus services you're only about 20 minutes away from Newcastle which is much, much better. Sunderland has the River Wear where I have been magnet fishing recently, I managed to recover a bike! Although it was missing wheels, the seat and handle bars. I'm hoping I can get a free voucher so I can go to Amsterdam on the cheap, Amsterdam is a much nicer city than Newcastle or Sunderland - pro tip: don't take the boat.

The location of my uni is amazing. Right next to the river wear and the campus and uni halls are very close. It is such a beautiful place to live and to be a tourist in.

I love being in Sunderland for university, the town has a great variety of shops available in bridges and there's plenty of bars and clubs for great night out. Everything is close enough together to walk between or even if you need a taxi there's plenty of cheap services to use
