Lots of places to eat and drink, loads of night venues of all different kinds. Buses are unreliable. Things are fairly priced

Stoke is an overall great place to live I currently study there at Staffordshire University I'm in my first year and have had a few great nights out in clubs like fiction and jinx bar both were amazing places friendly and close to university. I also am in love with there shopping centre situated right in the heart of Hanley with a food court, market and high end shops for everyone. They also have some great places for music and theatres such as regent theatre and sugarmill where mostly local and the occasional appearance of artists such as jake bugg, pale waves and the courteeners

I always find that there's a lot of food/cafe/ coffee shops around Hanley! There's plenty of places to go around Hanley or around stoke.

Night outs are great and the student nights are best, food in most restaurants are top class with the hive in hanley city centre filled with various food places to fill your stomach, shopping areas are filled in Stoke with festival park, into potteries shopping centre which has all the necessary shops, for both rich and for poor. Alton towers is right next to here and plenty of say activities are on for everyone to try out

The university campus is a 20 minute walk from the town centre where there is an intu shopping centre, bowling, cinema and a wide range of restaurants serving a variety of food. On campus the Student Union operate 2 bars Verve and Ember Lounge which host events such as karaoke and themed nights out. Next door to campus is the train station meaning transport up and down the county is extremely accessible.
