McIntosh Hall

This hall has very good facilities and is in very good condition. The rooms are large and heated and very nicely organised as well as being very spacey. The location is ideal because because it is right in the centre of town therefore very close to all the university buildings and shops. However not too far from the gym and other facilities either.

A really strange experience. People would come into my bedroom at all hours of the day with no warning. The food was the same on a two week rotation. The laundry machines were consistently flooding my clothes so that they wouldn’t dry and the dryers would put holes in them. The weekends were the worst - other students would knock on the bathroom doors to speed you up, try and come into my bedroom in the early hours of the morning. I joined the committee and was turned against by the senior student. It was just not welcoming.

Central location, super friendly and social, good food, great wardenial and residential services team. Great socials and trips out as a hall. Rooms very well kept.
