Nights out are okay, highlight being jesters. I find Bedford place can be quite quiet most of the time! Restaurant wise it's good now that they've built watermark in the centre of town, but it's not close to the university. Rent is expensive, due to the commutability to London, so I'd say living here is bad value for money. Shopping is okay but one by one the shops are disappearing....at least there is an IKEA!

The town it self is not very nice at all, lots of tramps and people approaching you asking for money and cigarettes. The only thing there is to do here is there is a few cinemas and a shopping centre which for a city isn't that big and closes early, 8pm.

The town is okay, but there is a huge amount of homeless people and undersiarable people, in the centre of town you will be harrashed for change or cigarettes non stop, and all shops including supermarkets are closed by 11.
