Sheffield is a vibrant city full of culture and life. From the main attractions such as Meadowhall for shopping, the Peak District for adventurous hiking and West Street for bars/clubs, to the mix of people from all different places and backgrounds, this city is for those who seek a life time experience at university.

Sheffield is a compact city. You can find each and every thing within your reach. Sometimes you don't have to take transport as all locations can be accessed by foot. The transport of the city is great. A lot of busses and tram which goes to many places. You can also find variety of food in every corner of the city such as west street, London road, Ecclesall road etc. Overall good place to live.

Sheffield is a city with almost everything you can think of. The shopping in the city centre is excellent with a wide range of high street and independent stores. The moor area of the city is being completely rebuilt with recently the light cinema added, which alone is amazing, but it also acts as a hub for a variety of restaurants from Nando's to Gourmet Burger Kitchen. Soon a bowling alley and more shops are due to be built. Plus you can easily access the Peak District either by bus or train which is great for people who want to escape the city now and again. And above all nearly everything you can do in this city is a great value for money.

Nights out are pretty good, best place to go is usually Corporation for cheap triple vodkas. Loads of places for shopping - Fargate, The Moor, Meadowhall. Sheffield's very "hipster" so lots of interesting independent shops and cafes though they do tend to be a bit expensive. There is an issue with homelessness, use of "spice" and knife crime currently but usually feel very safe as these people tend to stick together and avoid people not involved

Sheffield is such a great city. I love going to Meadowhall as it has a great choice of shops and restaurants. The city centre is also a great place to shop and there are a variety of bars and restaurants to choose from. Transport into and out of the city centre is quick and efficient. You can choose from the tram or bus, both are very affordable.

Sheffield city is a student city since it is quite and cozy. It has many restaurants and variety of halal food since I'm muslim. It has many regions and the people are nice. It is in the center of England so you're one hour away from many good cities. Sheffield has many vintage shops and many street art so it's beautiful. Its university is one of the biggest universities in the UK

Really cool city that isn't too big. Loads of things to see and places to go, whether it's shopping, a night out, food, cinema or even gallery's. It has a very modern vibe with the architecture and with all the different forms of transport. It's a very student orientated city.

Sheffield is a big city with many things to do (as long as you know places). I tend to spend my time in local cafes, especially one called Howst. Sheffield also has nice parks that I like to walk through for some relaxation.

Great student city as not too big, yet has everything need, a good city and cheap to live. Good night's out, bars, clubs, restaurants. A lot of diversity and can get around easily as small so don't need to rely too much on public transport or a car. But if you do need to use the bus, only a £1.20 for a student.

The city is great for people who are used to living in towns or quieter areas, it provides all the shops, nightclubs etc but without the stress of being overcrowded and stressful unlike bigger cities. There is great transport links for students and many shops within walking distance from both Universities.

There are a range of activities to get involved in and a wide range of places to have an enjoyable night out from a nice meal to a night in the town. There are different places to go shopping, with easy access to transport to get around the city.

Sheffield is great for students who want to experience city life without being overwhelmed by the bright lights. No matter who you are, Sheffield has a night out for you. If you want to dress up for a more classy night there's plenty of cocktail bars and clubs on server street such as Crystal and Viper rooms. If you you're into alternate music then look no further than the infamous Corp, which has 4 rooms of different tunes to keep you entertained all night. There are endless options for shopping with the city centre and two shopping centres which are easily accessible on the tram. This is great for those who are always on the lookout for a new outfit. With 3 cinemas and countless music venues you'll never be bored in Sheffield. Also, if you and your friends are up for a challenge then head to Escape Rooms and see if you can beat the clock. It's great fun and a good excuse to get together. Furthermore, just a short bus ride away is the peak district which is home to some incredible views. So get your hiking boots on and explore what Sheffield has to offer. Sheffield has great value for money. It is a city so there are some places that are a bit pricey but compared to the bigger cities in the UK you can't go far wrong in Sheffield.

A fantastic city to be a student in. With the majority of the population being students thanks to Sheffield Hallam and Uni of Sheffield it makes for a great student experience. With the peaks just on the doorstep, it has a fantastic balance between both nights out and adventure. Alongside Meadowhall just a short tram stop away, making it great for visiting friends and family members also.

Sheffield is somewhat a student filled city. With more than sixty thousand students from the residing two universities it can be a bustling metropolis during term time. This also adds a lot of opportunities to find diverse food and drink options along with a crazy night life. The City Centre is full of market for shopping where one can find anything that a UK city market would have. It's also not too far from the shopping mallsz one such bring Meadowhall right in the middle of Doncaster and Sheffield. It isn't hard to find outlets that are value for money, many close to the universities or the alleyways around them.

I have been living in Sheffield for 8years now ,and I love it here despite the day to day incidents I think this city is a pretty good one ,in terms of shopping which you have loads to go too and recieve good customer services, also I enjoy the museums and good cinema deals. Although in terms of buses ,the only think that should be improved is busses arriving late or not come at all.
