The location of the halls is definitely a 10/10, it’s perfect for Sheffield Hallam students as most buildings on city campus are less than a 5 minute walk! It’s also close to nearly all of the nightclubs and bars by only needing a 15 minute walk to west street. The flats themselves are okay, a bit run down but they’re not too bad. There is a problem with silver fish that needs sorting out and also a rat problem that may occur in the future. But at the end of the day it’s cheap and very sociable! I don’t mind living here !

I was super nervous to move into Leadmill Point at first due to all the negative reviews on google but once I moved in I was shocked with how spacious my room was. The staff are super friendly and more than welcome to help and welcome students to extend there stay for another year as well as secure the same room for another year. The accommodation is also super close and convenient to the university as well as city centre.

Amazing location and a short walk away from all necessary places including only a 5 minute walk to uni. Plus leadmill's across the street so great night life close by but could be an issue with the noise sometimes. I really like my room and kitchen good sizes and good value for money. The staff are great and helpful and usually fast to respond to issues. My only problems have been with some maintenance issues including mould in my bathroom that didnt get treated properly and there was a mouse in our kitchen once.

Location of the accommodation was perfect, close to university buildings, station and clubs and everything you could possibly need! The noise levels were quite loud but I didn't mind this as I anticipated it being so central and living in student halls. The accommodation was nice sized and 5 roommates was perfect amount. Found that the unite was awful at replacing broken items in the halls or fixing anything. Cleaners came fortnightly and did a good job and reception were very helpful and dealt with parcels well !! Overall enjoyed living there

Great location and really safe / secure but all maintenance issues take ages to resolve - I threatened to move out when it took a month for pest control to get rid of mice in the kitchen

One of the cheaper choices out of halls so didnt expect much from it. The location is so ideal for city campus with being literally a 2 min walk so great for 9ams. However, it was very basic, outdated and a little lack luster (i know halls wont be amazing but). it did its job but i wasnt best pleased with it, aswell as having a lot of maitenance problems from cupboard doors falling off to showers not working etc. Apart from that it served its purpose so i cant really fault it, and a fun experience for firsdt year students. I would recommed if tyou didnt care massively about decor and more about convenience and not being a morning person!!

Pictures are a lot different to actual room quality. Still average just lack of working stuff. For example before moving in everything should be checked that it works.

Leadmill point was a well orgasised, easy to find and well situated accommodation. On arrival there were both staff and students guiding and helping freshers find and move into their rooms. The rooms are small but adiquate although issues with things such as silverfish and mice make it somewhat uncomfortable. Ensuite rooms allow for the privacy you need during first year and help to enable students to maintain their own space whilst settling in to a new environment. A 5 minute walk for city campus, 2 local shops and a club across the road makes this acommodation in the absolute ideal location possible. Almost everyonr in my block got along well and were very social, orgainsinf sports events, nights out, games nights and parties, just what you want first year!

Safe, well kept, best student halls location in the city, excellent reception staff, clean and fun communal areas (although broken facilities like pool table and TV take ages to fix when they break), could do with more laundy machines, good courtyard with plenty of parking and social space, wifi not the greatest. big rooms and en suites available - I lived here for a little over 2 years.

Good location to city centre, university and train station. Wifi didnt work in my room until I contacted the reception who sent an engineer out to see what the problem was and fitted in a wifi booster which fixed the problem. Value for money is good, however, you can obviously pay more for other halls but in return get bigger rooms, bigger beds etc

The place has silverfish and rats and is horribly over priced, the nightlife near by is great but the halls need a serious make over, my room had mold on the walls and the extractor fan leaked for the majority of the stay

Honestly, the actual rooms and kitchen space for what they are, student accommodation, aren’t bad. The rooms are a little small with only single beds in them but I hear they are upgrading the rooms to 3/4 beds for next academic year. The base furniture in the room is of a generally good standard with lots of under-bed storage. The showers could be more powerful and warmer, but again this is only student accommodation not a 5 star hotel. The kitchens are very spacious (we do have 8 in our flat) with cookers, fridge freezers, table and chairs and sofa style chairs. Upon arrival many of the sofa style chairs were stained with god only knows what, and we only have 7 drawers combined in the two freezers (but we have 8 people!) Cleaner comes once a fortnight and does bare minimum of hoovering in the kitchen but leaves the hallway and our rooms up to us. security aren’t very fast at dealing with noise complaints and maintenance take what seems like the whole year to fix any issues with your flat (we waited 6 weeks for extra stools) Staff are all really friendly and parcels are kept safe until you can pick them up in their office. In the common room there’s a pool table (stained and ripped) with broken pool cues. A big flatscreen TV with Netflix and some sofas (great for after a night out when you can’t bare the thought of walking back up those stairs to your room). Location is great, 3/4 minutes from the train station 5 minutes from city campus and about 20 minutes from Colligiate. Local shop (Spar) can be expensive but aldi is only about a 10 minute walk away. Internet/WiFi has a tendency to drop off in communal areas but works okay in rooms.

the rooms are a good size, with single beds. plenty of desk space and 2 large shelves. however the windowsill is slanted so you can't put anything on it! the bathroom is average size and there's plenty of storage space! the maintenence and reception team are so helpful and kind. cleaners come in every other week. the kitchens are a good size with lots of fridge space, however, cupboard space is limited, with less than 2 cupboards for each tenant! since being there I've had a slight issue with little bugs in the bathroom but the team have been so helpful in trying to solve the issue!

Great location, 5 mins from city centre and university! En suite room sharing with 5 others, great way to get to meet new people and overall great accommodation

Dogshite, only good thing is the location. Rooms were tiny, and falling apart. Kitchens were gross and very basic. Staff were crap and unfriendly. Didn’t care for security with the gates always open and doors left unlocked. Didn’t feel safe.
