Fenton House

This halls is a perfect location to the city campus and not far from the others. The staff are extremely friendly and the facilities are always clean and really nice!

Great location, apartments are nice and the staff are helpful. Gym is basic but is great for just popping in for a workout.

The location is ideal for both universities and shops and nightlife are on your doorstep. Fenton House offers much more than competing halls of residence with an on-site laundrette, gym, cinema room, games room and social areas. It is also handy how there is someone at reception 24/7, and maintenance issues are dealt with quickly. The community is gated and accessed with a key fob so it is also very safe. The rooms themselves are modern and all ensuite. There is ample amount of space. However upon arrival there were some cleanliness issues and cosmetic damage to the room from the previous resident which had clearly not been dealt with.

I like doing parties in my hall, drink beers invite beautiful girls and get laid. Its close to uni and i dont have to walk too much

Perfect location, 10 minute walk to city campus and close to West Street where there’s a variety of bars and eateries. Everyone I’ve encountered are very social and friendly. Rooms are great value for money with an en suite and 3/4 bed (double if you choose the bigger room option) and excellent WiFi. Staff are very helpful and ensure any maintenance issues are fixed quickly.

They really are very modern and stylish and looked after, it’s almost luxurious for students! The hubs and student study area is perfect too, especially the cinema and gym

Excellent flats finished to a high standard. Helpful staff on duty. Reasonable price which included a games/common room and gym.

I've been at Fenton House for all three years at uni and I've seen it change from a dark, gremlin cave to a bright, airy modern student digs. A gym and a better games room was built in the second year, and both are equipped with great equipment. The rooms are brighter, having got a fresh lick of paint and gotten rid of the dark green carpet for flooring. Fenton is also close to everything: the Moor, restaurants and takeout places, transport and both universities. It is expensive, but with all this, you are definitely getting your money's worth

This residence is amazing. Honestly is so secure and the security team are great. The games room and cinema room are also really good and are clean all the time including the games room
