Location is great as it's only 7/10mins walk from the main city campus, very close to Division & West street (5mins walk max) so dont have to spend any taxi money on nights out, literally attached to corperation night club so if you like it there then that's convenient but you do get a lot of noise from there, if youre not asleep by 3am, drunk people walking past will keep you up until about 4:30am because apparently anyone who wants a fight will walk directly down Trafalger street to do so - basically the windows arent sound proof at all. The actual room is of a good size and it comes with all the essentials so can't complain and the wifi is pretty good but it has cut out a couple times in these first few months. The en-suite is also of a good size and the shower power is great. Walls arent too thin but you can hear if someone next to you is on the phone,if they plug something in at the wall and if theyre in their bathroom. Maintenance takes about 2/3 days to sort out a problem which is annoying if your lights are out... (we've had an oven door broken for about a month now and it still hasnt been fixed/replaced, it also took 3 weeks for them to sort out a lighting problem where half our flat (4/8) had their lights not working in their rooms/en-suites) The kitchen is cleaned by cleaners ever 2 weeks, electric ovens/stoves are annoying to use but it's not that bad, security of the place is okay if everyone in your flat remembers to lock the main door to it. You have a fob to enter the block/accommodation so that's secure although once a homeless person got into reception and started smoking in there. Noise complaints are dealt with really quickly. That's everything really, it doesnt include a gym and the laundrette is quite expensive, the common room is very basic and not very appealing. For £112 a week its not the best to be honest.
