It's good because you get a double bed in your room and the shared kitchen is quite big and includes a tv. My only issue is that the radiators turn off automatically after around an hour so it gets cold at night.

Radiators in rooms hardly work and get a horrible drought through the windows even when shut so I’m the window the room is freezing all the time. Also told we’d have cleaners for the kitchen but never have. However 3/4 bed is a good size and comfy and the rooms are a good size with a big wardrobe. WiFi in my room was also practically none existant so had to go I’m kitchen to use my laptop

Small halls of residents so very easy to get to know everyone, close to Asda and Aldi and the city centre

Very quiet, 24 hour security, but not good if you need help in moving out due to mental health/social issues

Poor location in terms of things to do but the flats are a decent size, if not a little dated. Only decent area to socialise is the smoking area really as the common room area is poor quality and run down :/

The location is good as it is close to Asda and aldi. Also, a close distance to the city and campus and walking distance to collegiate campus. However the standards on facilities are very low. Everyone's bathroom has silverfish in them. Small kitchen space so can't keep much food or utensils in there. The room is quite big though but can hear everything outside and gets very cold.

The bedrooms themselves were very well sized and also were fitted with ensuites which made this accommodation favourable for that reason. Although the kitchens were also well sized, the interior was fairly simplistic but that being said, it is a student accommodation. Each flat had six students in total which made socialising very easy from the offset. The only real issue was the distance from the university.

The staff in general are okay but are very strict with noise past 11pm and they will come in and remove people from site if they don’t live here past that time however the rooms in general have enough room for everything you need say a mini fridge a pc and a printer. There’s 8-10 plug sockets a room all serge protected and cheap for parking inside and outside the campus. The maintainence team fix any issues almost immediately and are friendly when doing so

I am in the first year here at Sheffield Hallam studying psychology I decided to go into halls in the first year I ended up getting out in charlotte court which wasn’t my first choice but I was hopeful anyways this hall is run by the university so the kitchens and rooms are updated frequently when I got there I found the kitchen to be very modern and stylish although the bedrooms looked like they could have needed a little more TLC the carpet was dirty looking and the Lino bathroom floor was peeling away around the shower but overall it was a god enough accommodation which I have lived in for the entirety of this year my flatmates were like my family as we all got on so well Charlotte court is usually pretty buzzing at night with all the parties going on in different flats the only downside was that security would come up and shut them down at 11 which was such a bore

Good size bedrooms, big shared kitchen with tv and sofas. Rooms feature a wide desk with substantial shelves.

Extremely nice rooms with private bathrooms (absolute necessity I must add). Literally a 10 minute walk from city campus and more importantly all the clubs. Make some amazing friends there - just prepare to get used to a messy kitchen!

Nothing works, staff are rude and useless when help is needed. They will find you for anything they can and its disgusting, absolutely do not stay here. The location is bad for collegiate uni as it's so far away and the walk is about 40 mins. My flat mates are all feeing the same about the points I have raised so i imagine more people do as well.

Good location for city campus but a bit of a trek for collegiate, newly refurbished common room with table top tennis and snooker table. On site washing and drying machines but can start to get expensive when it adds up.

It was a nice safe feeling accommodation where i met some really nice people. the room was a nice size with a decent bathroom. Overall i liked it but everything in it (the bed, the shower the kitchen) felt a little outdated.

Loctation: too far away from Colligate campus, took about 20-30 mins to walk. Facilities: they were fine and clean when I arrived and if anything went wrong, they were fast to sort it out. Social experience: didn’t use the common room much at all, didn’t feel like I needed to. My room: I had room 1, and it was a good size for me and all my things, I don’t think I would have been happy with the smaller rooms. Also, my bed was very noisy, one slight movement would create a huge noise and that was very annoying. Also, towards the end of my year (may/June time) the electricity in my room would keep flicking off my itself and that was very inconvinant as I was on placement. But, I was charged extra for using more electricity, which I thought was very unfair!!

Great location, 5 seconds walk to shops, doctors and chemist. Security makes you feel safe and the halls themselves are very clean and quite big.
