The location is fab if not a bit out of the way, since it's not directly in town. There is however a train station which is connected to town and there are many frequent bus services. There is a McDonald's over the road and a free shuttle bus to the other campus.

Perfect location for a university, it has an amazing nightlife with being less than 10 minutes away from Manchester City Centre, great opportunities for students who study at MediaCity because of what is there, close by to the shopping centres making it easy for those live in

Salford has a decent shopping centre and plenty of small decently priced pubs nearby. Also it is close enough to Manchester that you can walk for 15 minutes and then be in the centre of Manchester too
