The room is perfectly sized and the UPP staff that manages the facilities are really helpful and thoughtful!

With Windsor, you basically get what you pay for. The rooms are not the most amazing and luxurious; you're looking at single beds, no ensuite bathrooms and some particularly grumpy cleaners. However, there are also so many positives to living in Windsor. For a start, there is the sheer amount of people who you live with. When you go to University, you quickly realize who your friends are and who those people are that you don't quite click with. Living in Windsor gives you the option of meeting 25 different people on your first night - making it a lot easier to overcome the awkwardness of putting yourself out there to find new people. The location is also fantastic - right next to Park Bar so that you can wander down at anytime of the day for a quick cheeky pint with your mates. Windsor is a catered hall, which means that you get a certain amount of food you can buy in a week. There are a large number of options for every meal time - some a lot more appetising than others but you'll always find something to eat. I'm glad that I ended up in Windsor Hall in my first year at University.

Clean facilities however it can be very noisy as it is just outside park bar. Bathroom facilities are cleaned daily throughout the week and include a shower, sink and toilet in each room. Depending on what fly you are in there can be between 4-7 bathrooms.

On the centre of campus, Windsor Hall is the perfect location for those wanting a short distance to lectures. Furthermore, a 1 minute walk to park bar means that all your food and drinks needs are covered from 8am til 1pm. The layout of Windsor hall makes it the most social halls on campus, meaning that you are never far from a friendly face. All in all Windsor halls are the perfect halls, to satisfy all your first year needs.

Great social aspect and right by park bar which is always handy. Comes with a catering package but not the nicest accommodation by far

Windsor hall is situated right in the middle of campus, a stone's throw from the centre courtyard where the majority of the lectures are held. Windsor is set right by the amenities on campus, the laundry room and the post office. However, it is also right by park bar, as it is a catered residence, this means that most nights are disturbed by the sounds of crowds inside and outside park bar. I have had many nights of interrupted sleep because of the noise and there have been several occasions where random drunk students have made an exceptional racket and do not clear off until at least 4 in the morning at times, despite park bar shutting at 2. This accommodation is definitely not for the faint of heart.

Great social life as you're always surrounded by people. Also pretty noisy. Basic rooms but nice bathrooms, didn't need anything apart from a stove in the kitchen. Park bar food is alright, not much choice if you're veggie but enough. No seating area really so we all just sat in the corridor.

Good location, good social life, thin walls, not good if you're vegetarian as there's only a couple of options for food each day. Keep your door open and make friends. The kitchens need an oven/stove.

Great social life, pretty noisy, food is good but you do get bored of it after a while, it's fun living with loads of people, and you'll make good friends!

Very cheap but unless u are a party animal you get limited sleep as walls are very thin. Catered food also isn’t very healthy

Very social, one of the most social halls only issue is the very thin walls and the large amounts of ppl that share the flat

It is a flat of 25 people with a tiny kitchen, however we were catered. I was in an international room so none of my friends stayed at university which is the worst part about it.

May not be the best room available but everyone in Windsor has the best social life! With Park Bar literally crawling distance (trust me I know). Every night is snakebite fueled.
