Lovely rooms and modern kitchen, even though it's off campus it's one of the best halls out there for value for money!!

The location is okay, could be closer to reading town center but its fine there are local shops and its niot to far the social experience is good i have met alot of life long friends, I think the shower facility need an update and the rooms but the size is good and the beds are comfy, the facilities are great everything i need in the halls.

Halls was great. It was only about 10 minutes from the centre of campus. There were people from all around the world. There were good facilities with a piano and a TV. The quality of the room was great

Building was very old when I lived in it, however has now been refurbished which was very much needed. Social experiences were average, made friends outside of my halls who I spent more time with. Hall location was good as it was off campus but not too far, so was close to many facilities such as local shops nearby.

The loction is good because it was located centre-liked which you can go everywhere without having to walk for too long. The room is better than expectation. It contained everything that we need on daily basis. Also, when i first move in it was clean than I thought. Further, the flatmates are all friendly from all around the world. We had dinner sometimes and shared the stories in our own countries. It was satisfactory overall.

Elmhurst wing and ensuite rooms are outdated and extremely basic with 15 people sharing one kitchen. Oakhurst wing and shared bathroom section of halls are a lot more modern and comfier with double beds not singles. All areas are cleaned twice a week and everything kept nicely just very old

Good social atmosphere with a good size room and kitchen. Nice location, would like to have a better pool table as it’s currently broken. Also washing is rather expensive

The halls of residence was good. Enjoyed my time that year. Made some great friends. Would definitely recommend first years looking for halls of residence to stay here. Near shops not far from campus and gym is close by.
