Sherfield Hall was brilliant. The halls were clean, nicely laid out and in a lovely setting. I met a great mix of people and really enjoyed my time there.

Good location. Not enothat common space to socialise. Very secluded and not as socail as other halls. Basic room everything you need. Good size desk and lots of storage space. Shower was powerful and warm.

Great in 1st year. Lots of events and stuff. My absolute biggest regret this year has been returning to halls. It has not been fun.

The location is quiet compared to other halls which is nice as it is not as noisy and there is more of a sense of community. The building is a lot older however so there were a few problems with water etc and we had to call maintenance a few times to sort out issues with rooms.

I spent my first year in Sherfield and loved it. It didn’t actually even have WiFi when I was there but it was fine. It was also great having northcourt so close for a quick drink that wasn’t on campus.

I had a great experience Here, mainly because of the people I lived with. Social Space was pretty poor but Kitchens and rooms were good.

Serious mould issues in all rooms, as well as a mice infestation. Nice big kitchen but not enough freezer/fridge space.

Overall a quiet and pleasant experience. Heating didn't work at multiple times throughout the year and maintenance were reluctant to help out.

Good facilities, kitchen is a bit small for 8 people, room is a nice size, bed isn't too bad, lighting in room and ensuite isn't very good

Good distance from the campus and surrounding shops. Washing and social areas close by and easy to locate and use. Large rooms and kitchen of up to 8 students with two fridges and oven units per flat. Good size bathroom with shower unit.

The location was good but the block I was in was in bad need of updating. The oven was ancient and there was very limited cupboard space with no drawers at all. The chairs in the kitchen were school style and not comfortable for a long period of time. The room was spacious enough but again needed updating. The ensuite was the highlight as it was nice to use and there was always hot water.

The locations is a little bit annoying as it is 15min off campus by foot witch is not too bad but it can make you feela bit excluded sometimes. The rooms are generally very spacious for Hall accommodation and the bathroomare alright but look a bit like a washroom on a train. In the room the walls however peel off super easy so you can‘t put any pictures on the wall really. Nevertheless there is a lot of space in the closet. The kitchen is very new and super nice but the only problem is that there is close to no space in the kitchen as the long table is right in the middle of the kitchen. There is also no space for a sofa or anything else in the kitchenwhich makes socialising with flatmates in the kitchen very hard and often uncomfortable. I have made friend with everyone in the same block as me but I feel like the blocks are not easy to interact between. Northcourt however is quite good to hangout in and makes the social experience a bit better.
