A decent club, pretty small and more suited for those who like drum and base. Cool lights and super cheap drinks so hard to complain! Also, has a really cute smoking area with fairy lights above.

The atmosphere is normally nice in the queue/venue etc, smoking area is large with lots of room and perfect for some proper fresh air etc, 3 rooms of music of varying tastes, and good priced drinks on themed nights. Entry is slightly overpriced though

Absolute belta of a night out cheap drinks and great rooms the bar staff are great and get to you as quick as possible the smoking area is spacious and can also take your drinks outside which is a bonus.

Astoria is a really good club that offers something for everyone through the varius floors available. The bar staff are very friendly and always serve with a smile however the door staff are absolutely horrible and will racially profile individuals based on the colour of their skin. I have a black friend who has not ever once got into the club without a full search from these door staff while I have never once been searched even when I go in with him and this happens so often with the majority of friendships where the black people always get a more intense search than everyone else so if going to astoria be wary of the door staff. Overall a good club but foor staff need to be spoken to sbout their conduct as they put people off from going.

The whole atmosphere is really good for students. The queue is always there but it's worth it. The lower ground floor is garage and house music but the first floor is more mainstream. The effects in there a pretty cool when the beats drop and there's 2 different bars near enough one another which is quite good. Overall very student friendly and mostly students go there which is good as you want get an older crowd out of nowhere like Tiger Tiger

Have been going to the Astoria for nearly 3 years now and it's still by far the best venue in Portsmouth. Open multiple days a week there's an event for everyone. It's cheap and the atmosphere is great, mainly university based and the cooperation with lyberry/mr miyagis is great. If going to Portsmouth there's no other place to be.

The first thing you notice about this club is the smell, it really does stink however once you get used to it, the nights are very good. They play a variety of music over the week. Concrete Thursdays are great if you like electronic music. Fridays and the weekend play a good selection and the lights and atmosphere are always good. Drinks are very cheap which is a bonus, even on Saturdays. It also has two rooms for varying music taste.

Always a good atmosphere on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays although beware of the dry ice fog machine which burns!

Really friendly club with friendly bar staff, can get a bit unfriendly however on Saturday nights when some students get too drunk. Really good drink prices especially on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Not a big fan of Monday nights as the music isn't for me however love weekends here

19 November 2018

Concrete thursday never dissapoints, always have the best djs shelling it every week. Serum one was the best so far

19 November 2018

Most popular venue in Portsmouth and probably the best night out you can have on a tuesday. Watch out for the locals on Saturday nights though

19 November 2018

Best club in portsmouth for students, DD is always a good night out

19 November 2018

Good club but it stinks really badly and their floors are very sticky. Other than that, very good music and student friendly.

Despite its small size it offers a range of music and themes on the nights it's open and has cheap drinks which students love !

Music and atmosphere dependent on night with different events occurring each night Best club to go to in Portsmouth and the drinks are really affordable. Large venue with different rooms and a good garden area

The venue is reasonably sized however it can get very busy. Its very Student friendly as it's based right in the middle of the town, near uni halls and student houses. It's always good value for money, especially on student nights.

The Astoria is by far the best nightclub in Portsmouth, offering different floors of music, amazing drink deals (£1.50 on Tuesdays) and the best atmosphere. Wouldn't go anywhere else for a night out in Portsmouth!

19 November 2018

Really good atmosphere, with varied nights and the drinks and cheap. Big smoking area with lots of seats and space

19 November 2018

The venue and music is great, lines need to be made quicker as every week it takes hours to get in. Also the smell in Astoria needs to change as it always stinks

19 November 2018

The venue is excellent with cheap drinks. Location is really convenient even for people in southsea. It is worth the money especially on a Friday where Mr Miyagi's (old Lyberry) and Astoria is connected together. You can feel the party vibe even if there isn't a party. You can also many students in the club.

The venue itself is great with a spacious smoking area and is especially fun when all of the rooms are open (usually when bigger names come through). Thursdays (Concrete) are definitely the best nights with regards to the music as well as the crowd although Mondays nights can be surprisingly fun too! The drinks are pretty average although £1 pints are only next door at Mr. Miyagi's on Saturdays.

Astoria is a big venue, fit for all people and their accustomed wants in a local club. Beating all the clubs in the area for music, price and atmosphere-different events/themes everyweek. The club is always busy and easy to get around with two different floors and a wide smoking area

19 November 2018

Best club for students in Portsmouth by a mile! So cheap and never fails to host a great night. 5 stars all around.

Fairly small club, repetitive music, but nonetheless an absolute banger and the place to go on a Tuesday, Friday or Saturday, dirty disco especially (Tuesdays)
