It is a good standard uni accommodation, with flats of up to 8 people and a shared kitchen and dining area. The rooms are clean and have good storage space. Most rooms have a wet room style of bathroom, which is usually clean. It is right on campus which is a positive and a negative - you can get to your lectures in no time, but sometimes it can get quite loud on campus at night. There is no common room or extra "wow" features. The price is fairly high, but then average for some of the Plymouth accommodation.

good location, right in the centre however have had a lot of faults in the kitchen since moving in. however aside from that the problems were dealt with and it's right in the middle of everything at the uni and just a minute walk from the su.

Francis Drake Halls were ideal because they were very close to where I had my lectures. Situated on the University campus it is perfect for students who can’t get up early. I lived in a flat with 8 other people and the communal spaces were big enough for all of us. We were matched together based on a survey we did before starting and we all got along very well. The room size was okay, small for £138 per week with only a single bed, whereas with other halls they have large beds. Overall my experience was good and I really enjoyed my stay in these halls.

Overall, the halls are lovely! They are kept relatively clean and are generally well looked after. I’ve had some faults with my room/kitchen which have not been fixed which is a shame.

Location: amazing Actual accommodation isn’t too bad easy to make feel homely and easy to make friends in the halls. The mattresses could be comfier as it’s like sleeping on a plank of wood sometimes. But if you invest in a good mattress topper it’s like sleeping in the clouds hence why something’s i don’t leave my bed.

The location is amazing as it’s right on campus and the rooms are a good size with decent en suite bathroom, but the only rea social area is the kitchen which isn’t great

Good location and in a nice area the halls are clean and not far from the city centre and are relatively good value for money .
