Although at first I had no clue what point exe was, when I arrived I was actually surprised at how nice it was. Yes, granted it's a typical uni room, so very basic it still met every need. The shower was great as it wasn't a wet room, therefore my belongings didn't get wet! The desk space was great and didn't feel cramped at all! The kitchen was very large and was a great place to chat to flat mates! Overall the best thing and most convenient thing was the 2 minute walk to Exeter st David's! This came in very useful when carrying suitcases back and fourth!!

It's an amazing place to live yeah it's close to the train but it doesn't bother me. Staff is really friendly and I love my room! The internet is a bit buggy sometimes

Bit of a walk to uni but because of that everyone becomes really sociable and you get to know pretty much everyone in the accommodation. Really close to train station.

Despite the negative reviews I had seen of point exe before living there, I did really enjoy my time there. The rooms and kitchens are really lovely, with enough space for everything. There is a laundrette there which makes washing so much easier. The accommodation felt really safe, with the office staff available through the day, and with so many doors between our flat and the outside. Even though it's not on campus, there is a free minibus in the mornings and afternoons up to the uni, and being so close to the station makes catching the train so much easier!

Off campus so is a 20 min uphill walk to and from uni everyday, but there is a free shuttle bus available to get in the morning

I stayed in Point Exeter for three years of my degree (2 years in a shared flat and 1 year in a studio) Like all accommodation in Exeter, student and local, the rent is a huge ask. But this is commonplace here so expected! Especially as a fresher, it can feel like you're cut off from the university because of the distance from campus. You're largely relying on having good flatmates - definitely not guaranteed! The rooms are standard and good quality, even if they are quite small The majority of staff are friendly but there are a couple who seem grumpy whenever you need help One part I really enjoyed about my third year there was the events and competitions they would put on around the year. These included an egg hunt, pumpkin carving and gingerbread decorating

Nice simple accommodation, modern and clean. Only slight downfall is that we don't have a sitting area like most halls, we only have a kitchen for the shared area.

Point Exe is in a great location as it's close to the station, town and only a 15 minute walk from campus. The rooms and bathrooms are lovely, if not slightly on the smaller side. The staff are so helpful and always hold events for students to participate in.

A plush, modern halls of residence, that provides a good variety of rooms including en suites. However, as an Exeter halls, it is far too distant from the university, being a 25 minute walk up a hill. Although there is a minibus, this only runs for a certain time, and as such causes many students to feel distant from the university.

Good communication via email, close to St David's station, not too far from campus, offer quite a few events. Lived there every year so far (shared flat 1st, studio 2nd and 3rd).

Good facilities including En suite bedrooms and large kitchen spaces. Flat of 7 people allowed for great socialising and blocks of flats made for good parties. Not many social events organised by the halls themself, but a helpful reception that were available for any questions. Located about 15 min walk from uni meant we were quite disconnected from student life which was the only drawback.
