Ormskirk is a beautiful town, many shops, things to do, market every Thursday and Saturday! Lively nightlife, tons of bars and a little nightclub too

ITS LITERALLY GOD'S WAITING ROOM. The only good pizza and kebab shop (Marmiras) closes at 12 on a weekday and if we're lucky 2 of a weekend, Alpine is small and shit and now you have to wait 2 hours to get in, when it's not worth it at all. Mustard Mondays, again Shit! No one hardly goes there anymore. However, the HorseShoe! That's where dreams come true, 6 messy smhits for a £5, 6 bud -£5. Bottle of prosecco £9, bottle of wine £8! Double ("triple") vodka blue £2.20. I am parcial to the quizz and kareoke night in styles of a Thursday. But yeah apart from that, it's basically a ghost town with a good kareoke bar

Even though there is only one nightclub in the town, it’s the best night out you will experience as a student here. Because the town is such a small market town, the value for money is amazing and there are plenty of places to eat. It’s only 25 minutes on the train to Liverpool, so anything you want to do or see is so close! It’s perfect to be so close to a major city, with all the perks of not actually being right in the center.

Ormskirk is a town full of character, and is great for students who don't want the hustle and bustle of city life. Ormskirk is full of shops, great nightlife, and is home to the scenic Ruff Woods. With quick and cheap train rides to Liverpool, Southport and Preston, there is always something to do in Ormskirk.

A little out of the way regarding big cities but the regular trains make this easy to work around. Busses are regular too, so getting to wider areas is easy too.

There's not much to do but there's regular busses and trains to places like Liverpool, Preston and Southport and staying in Ormskirk is nice as it safe and not full of drink people.

This location is perfect for people who want a quite countryside but don’t want to be too far away from the city. With the right balance of shops close to the university in town or a short train journey into the centre of Liverpool.

Lovely little market town, scenery and locals all amazing. Want a Wetherspoons? Skip the Court Leet and get to Market Cross near the church, one problem though all the clubs close at 2am.

Plenty of shops, a few bars and a couple of nightclub types. Decent places for students with it also being set in a nice location, a bit more rural than usual city unis. The town does well to accommodate for students even though there are many other residents of all ages, particularly the elderly.

Ormskirk is a beautiful old town with so many books and crannies to discover. It's quiet from the busy city, yet the night life is plentiful with many bars and clubs, and of course Venue on campus. It's a cheap train and bus ride away from a shopping day in Liverpool, and a day at the beach at Southport. There are plenty of shops, from big stores to small family shops.

Nice town to live in, not too busy for if you don't like living in busy places like me. A little bit out of Liverpool, which can be an issue when on nights out or during train strikes, and there's isn't much to do for fun, but it's a lovely place to live.

Really nice location because of it's on the outskirts of a little village, so it's nice and quiet. Looks really pretty too which is always a plus and everything you could need is on campus too so just makes it a whole lot better.
